Started seeing him when I was 13/14. He misdiagnosed me and refused to listen to me and didn’t reevaluate me. Also kept asking me how the people who abused and traumatized me are at every appointment. They were / are his patients too. He prescribed me medication that made my mental disorder worse. Do not recommend at all.

Didn’t listen to me. I was on medications that made my corrected diagnosis worse. He consistently asked me questions about my toxic family and fed into their drama. Knew I didn’t want to talk about them but would always ask. Do not recommend. He diagnosed me when I was 13/14 and refused to reevaluate me, and would just prescribe me a bunch of medications that I didn’t need.

Dr. Kassas nearly killed me. He prescribed me clonazepam a few times a day, then dropped me as a patient without any referral to another doctor. I had to withdraw cold turkey. I had 2 seizures and was on bed rest for 6 months. I almost died. He needs to lose his right to practice

Too bad you cant grade him lower. Unprofessional. Did not listen to patient concerns. Arrogant attitude/judgmental. Made no attempt to see from patients view. Listened to respond and judge not understand and help.

Dr. Kassas is excellent and highly compassionate. I have seen him help 3 people suffering from major depression and substance abuse disorders. All three went from tragic lives to functional lives. Dr. Kassas is always there for his patients both in-office and at 2N (inpatient mental health at Mercy). I highly recommend him. If you are looking for answers to help your situation, I think you will find them with Dr. Kassas.

A few staff here are not professional and extremely rude. Big questions on MD's ability to treat a mental health condition? Treatment plans cause Ur insurance loads of $$$ but the person is still suffering for a long long time....
