Amazing surgeon!

Horrible bedside manner.

I have never encountered a doctor as rude as Dr. Silvia. I did not pick him as a doctor but got him due to being admitted to the hospital from an accident. The first time I met him he came into my room, did not introduce himself and started lecturing me about my accident. He did not care about my pain level. The nurses were wonderful and advocated the best they could for me, but he refused to try other pain meds. I would not recommend him due to his bedside manner being horrible.

AWESOME Surgeon, bedside manners need some work but I'd rath4er have good work then be in pain.

I was billed incorrectly to insurance, leading to a hefty bill I was told I needed to pay. When I contacted my insurance they explained the mistake, that I should not have been billed for an annual wellness visit, and how to correct it. I called the office, and explained what I had been told. After calling several times, I finally got a return call. The office attendant who called me said that Dr. Panitch said it's her choice to code and bill to insurance how she wants, even though the insurance company told me point blank it was done incorrectly. I switched doctors, and I've never had the problem again despite the fact that my insurance is exactly the same. Save yourself some time, energy, and money. Go someplace reputable with a legitimate billing department.

Dr. Silvia misdiagnosed me with a tendon problem rather than an arthritic hip that needed total hip replacement surgery. His laxidazical attitude prolonged my severe pain. He prescribed physical therapy, which wouldn't have helped me, according to another orthopedic doctor 's evaluation. To make matters worse he didn't schedule a follow-up or arrange one. I will not return to this medical clinic, nor would I recommend Dr. Silvia's services.

Extremely thorough Dr. Goes to extra measures to make sure you don't get infection. Very educated and researches constantly to continue to bring the best results possible.

I had been to several doctors for 5 years trying to figure out why I had chronic hives and allergic reactions to foods that I'm not allergic to and I was down to barely eating because I was afraid of how my body would react. Dr Panitch was the first doctor to find the root of the issue. She was thorough and thoughtful and took my health seriously instead of other MD's thinking I was overreacting. She found that I had a parasite that 99% of MD's don't consider threatening because our bodies usually can clear it on its own. I had so much of it in my body and most the symptoms of a parasite, so she suggested to take an anti parasitic drug in addition to my strict diet and sure enough all my symptoms were cleared after a couple months. I had spent 5 years struggling to have an answer and being bullied for not eating any fun foods bc no one believed me that my fave would swell up or I'd flare up head to toe in welts from hives. I've recommended so many people to Dr Panitch. Good luck to all of those who are looking for answers!!

Dr Silvia was straight to the point about the facts involving my surgery. Excellent doctor.
