Ok yea Dr Parker ordered a MRI for me because of this growth in my throat or near my throat that was back on Feb 28th finally got the MRI done waited over 2wks for a call from his office with results no one called so I called and his nurse Jessica got on the phone and said the MRI results doctor said we're normal that I'm good. Which is wrong there not normal. For one narrowing of a basil artery that goes to my brain is concerning my primary doc put me on stations I found that myself from going and getting the results my self. Mean while this growth is getting bigger and my face and throat are so swollen . Also the results did say there was a palpable abnormality and consideration of a ultrasound which none from Dr parkers office nor him even said anything so yes Dr Parker has left me hanging with no answers no concerns they flat dont care . After losing 5 drs at mercy and they way I was treated by Dr Parker is unacceptable and frankly what ever happened to the oath you took as a Dr I've never ever been treated to terrible . I will never ever step foot in another Mercy One again

Dr Parker did a minor in office procedure on me he did a fantastic job,professional confident great bedside manner are just a few of the characteristics Dr Parker possesses.

Dr. Parker did my first surgery when I was diagnosed with melanoma on my forehead. He was very thorough and answered all our questions! When the possibility of the cancer came back, per my normal skin doctor, Dr. Parker squeezed me in that same day to do a biopsy. He personally called to tell me it was positive. My second surgery went great as well. He worked well with the other surgeon as I had a second spot that needed to be removed that was not in his area of practice. Throughout my cancer I would bring in my family and he was always willing to answer all our questions. He would explain everything so that we knew what to expect with surgery and care after the surgeries when I went home. I would recommend him to anyone!

I'm writing this review to counter some of the negative comments made in previous reviews. I have been a patient of Dr Parker's for over 12 years. I believe I have a good understanding of how his practice runs and who Dr Parker really is. To make comments such as "He is only trying to line his pockets with his side business" is just ridiculous. I mean there really isn't that much mark up on supplements anyway, and I don't even think he marks them up. I think they are provided as a service to his patients at the same price it would cost to order them, without having to pay for shipping. Dr. Parker has his @side business" because he genuinely wants to help people get well, and insurance companies do not pay for many treatments. A lot of doctors who are on the cutting edge of treatments that work won't take any insurance at all. Dr Parker has his practice set up so that his patients can see him for their basic psychiatric or med check visit, but if they want to avail themselves of integrated treatments they can also self pay for that as well. I see Dr Parker regularly for maintenance med check visits. I have also availed myself of other testing over the years that proved to be valuable to me getting better. He didn't force these tests on me, I requested it. When I go for my med check visits he doesn't mention Core Psych or anything related to it. It is separate. If you listen to his pod casts, which are free, you will hear very prominent doctors interviewed that discuss many alternative treatments for mental health. Unless these doctors are willing to step out of the box there will never be advancement in the mental health field. Anyone who knows Dr Parker knows that he gets very excited about learning new things to help his patients. That is what motivates him, not selling vitamins or tests that he is providing to the patient near cost. Dr Parker retired this month, but I just felt I needed to address the negative comments posted below.

Dr. Parker is beyond knowledgeable and lightyears ahead of the majority of the medical world, with regards to his forward thinking of how the body and brain work cohesively!!! He's been our savior!!!

Learned nothing. No advice or help,

My 16 year daughter began experiencing chest pain and pain with eating. This went on for 1 1/2 weeks was getting worse and she was losing weight. I took her to see the pediatrician who then referred us to an ENT. Before going to see the ENT doctor, like a good mother I googled her symptoms so I'd know just enough to be dangerous. With my new found knowledge, adding in the fact she just started taking the antibiotic doxycycline for acne, I diagnosed her with medication induced esophagitis - doxycycline being the most common offender. My daughter had a barium swallow test and at our appointment, Dr. Parker stated the test was negative. Without giving any official diagnosis, he told my daughter to force herself to eat and perhaps drink some pedialyte. I was stunned. I even reiterated her doxycycline medication, specifically asking about esophagitis. He outright rejected this and left the room. I then went out to the front desk and scheduled a second opinion. At this second appointment, the doctor listened to my daughter describe her symptoms and before I could say doxycycline, he diagnosed her with, you guessed it, medication induced esophagitis. He gave us medication to coat the throat and advised what to eat and what to avoid. In 2-3 days it was completely resolved. Now the point of this story is not that I'm a genius, anyone with internet access could have done what I did. The point is that her diagnosis was fairly straight forward, per the second doctor who was more than a little surprised his colleague did not reach the same diagnosis. In medicine (and not just with doctors), it seems as if basic listening skills and genuine compassion have gone by the wayside. I feel very sad for those individuals who don't have a "Dr. Mom" or anyone advocating for them to insure they receive the treatment they deserve and pay for!

Dr. Parker is a great physician who is extremely knowledgeable and understanding. Front office staff has always been very professional.

Dr. Parker comes off as amazing. He is very good at reading you and telling you what you want to hear. I was having breakthrough panic attacks on my current medication regimen. I was traveling about hour and a half to see him. He totally changed all my medications and I started getting worse. He indicated that I should get testing done that cost about $2000 out-of-pocket and start using his supplements through Core Psych. I could not afford this. I continuously became worse. I got to the point of so much panic that I became Agoraphobic and could not travel to his office. His way of fixing that was to send me a letter telling me to find a new doctor unless I wanted to use Core Psych. I could not afford that out-of-pocket and I couldn't afford his supplements. I was called later that day and told he could do nothing for me etc. When I finally got a good psychiatrist they explained that the medication he put me on was equivalent to 1/4 of what I was on before. That's why I was getting worse. I believe he knew that and thought that I would shell money out of pocket for his so-called supplements at his side business of Core Psych. I think he's totally unethical and only out to line his pockets. Beware, unless you want a slick car dealer type psychiatrist who will rope you in with amazing promises and then try to get you to pay a ton of money out of pocket for his side business. If you decide not to use his side business to get "healed" be ready to take the boot because he will kick you out with no warning. I wish I had read these reviews before I visited him.

SO far, impressed with the new regimen he's suggested for my son. We are reading self help books and working on new medicines. We had follow up appointment with nurse to see if there are any side effects. So far, happy with the quality of care we receive. PS. Dr. Parker has written several books and has a weekly podcasts if you want to see his work.
