List of Mark Runde's Reviews
Has very little time for his patients, appears to be in a tremendous hurry to leave the exam room. I believe this is due to the fact he either has very little knowledge as to their condition or doesn't care, maybe both. He told me on more than one occasion that he was clueless as to my condition but would write me a prescription to try, schedule an appointment with someone more knowledgeable or see me at a later date. I believe they call this THE NEW CORPORATE MEDICINE WE ALL MUST FACE ?
Cares very little about his patients and a great deal about his egocentric attitude. Fast food medicine at its best, a prescription pad, a stop watch and a laptop. He needs to retire!
One of the Best internist in Dubuque County! He's been taking great care of my brother for years! Trustworthy and honest. Works very hard to promote wellness in his patients. Deep commitment to his community and meets his patients at their level. Let's face it you need to accept responsibility for your own health, do what your doctor suggests or don't waste their time or your own.
It would be nice if he showed any interest in his patients. He pushes them in, snaps a few questions and then dismisses any questions by leaving the office. Even one of his nurses asked me, "well, what did you (pregnant pause) think of Dr. Runde. After being sent to a specialist, I made the mistake of making an appointment with Dr. Runde to discuss the "next step," he told me that I would have see the specialist for any and all discussions about this particular problem. That would have been ok, but Runde was my primary: Runde was who I thought I could talk with to learn about my condition. I suspect he knows medicine - I just suspect he does not care to know people.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
