Dr. Smith did my carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists this summer. He is an amazing doctor. He knew I was nervous but kept talking to me helping to put my anxiety at ease. He also has great bedside manner, which is not something you see nowadays. Great sense of humor too! I highly recommend him.

Absolutely the best surgeon ever - very knowledgeable, punctual, I was most lucky to encounter him in the ER when I was referred to a surgeon. Will be forever grateful for his expertise.

Dr. Smith was very attentive to the complexities of Crohn's and checked in on me in person daily and wrote comprehensive orders for VON for post-surgical care with check appointments over phone and in person.

This Dr is the reason I’m here today. He did emergency surgery on me in 2011 at Cape Breton regional hospital for perforated bowel. I ended up with three surgeries and colostomy for two years which he also reversed. I owe my life to this simply amazing man ❤️
