I believe the Dr. Have so much inf buy its really useful. Before than you walk in, he already has a paper with with instructions and suggestions than could be added to everyone. Just pills. But if you need a reference to a specialist... need to paid. Really time to retire doctor.
Everyone give your head a shake. He’s a fantastic Dr. I had him for many years as well as my 5 children. I moved to London. I wish he was still my family Physician. Sharon
I have had the misfortune of seeing Dr. J more times than I can count over the last 10 years. It’s to the point if I see him before booking an appointment, I walk out. I don’t leave bad reviews for people, honestly I don’t. I believe in praising where it’s necessary, and try not to put negativity out there. Long story short; Husband went in because of his hand, Dr. J LOOKS at it (doesn’t touch), says you have nerve damage, take these pills and see this plastic surgeon in LONDON. We live in Burlington. Also said to do a test on hand, that Dr. J booked. Hubby took the day off work, to find out the London clinic booked him on wrong day (after confirming through email that it was today). They said they wouldn’t be able to do anything for him anyway, as he didn’t have EMG test done yet. Dr. J booked these for him with the EMG appointment 2 weeks after the appointment with the plastic surgeon. If you can’t make sense of this, don’t worry, it doesn’t make any sense. Basically, if you go in to see this Dr, he will look at you, tell you what your problem is within minutes, and prescribe pills for you. Done. Also, makes you wonder what kind of kickback he gets for sending Burlington residents to a LONDON?! Plastic surgeon.
Had a good experience was very good to my husband kevin oconnor
Honestly, He should be out of practice, to stop harming people. He should be retired or suspend his licence. because he dose not listen or let me speak. Rude, he controls his patient and prohibited his patient from seek advance health treatment or see specialist. he wants to be everything. I went for a certain problem that not life threat to end up in a life threat was so closed to die and he refused to listen and I end up in the hospital. I am save but my health condition is under threat. I will post the details of my case later ( when legally I can) to avoid going to his clinic and to save other people life
Worst doctor (Tom Johnson) ever he's a practicing allergist who pretends to be a general doctor that knows nothing just turns you over to a specialist, he doesn't see u in person, only through the computer screen, he's rude his staff Is rude the referral lady always forgets to get you a referral and your prescription is never called in, it's baby sitting them to do their jobs and the new employees keep quitting no wants to work with the rude staff. Good luck he's an old angry man and his nurse and office manAger are jerks. run from this office, that's my advise
He thinks outside of the box and looks for the root cause of illness. What else can you ask for in a doctor!? Can someone please tell me where I can find him now? I went back to the Burlington walkin and was told that he hasn't been there in months.
Saw dr Johnson for years for reg n allergy n asthma shots. Switched drs to a point 5 rating redid allergy testing n blood work which dr j never had me do. Seems all these allergy shots xolair shots I didnt need. It was his benefit for payment n my levels are very low. Dont need them at all. Please do yourself a favor and get out of that office. The staff are rude as well . There is a great personable dr in n and. That is way more qualified.
He's by far the worst. Was focused on a root canal I didn't have. He insisted that my ear, face, side of head pain was a result of a root canal (because they're bad). I repeatedly told him I don't have a root canal, never had one and don't have issues with my teeth on the left. He then said I'm fine. Pain was related to the Eustachian tube and I need to stop all dairy. Dairy is root of all issues, along with root canals. He was rude and condescending, as I tried to explain my symptoms. Made faces as I spoke, telling me he cannot understand what I'm saying. I replied I couldn't understand him either? He didn't like that and signed off and left, saying to follow up with GP. What a waste of time. Save yourself your time and go to another place, or phone ahead to make sure he's not there.
This MD should be struck off if you ask me. We initially went with my daughter as she had a sore neck and was crying from the pain, she also had a slight rash in the same area. It seemed to have eased by the time we were at the walking but best to get her checked. He ended up prescribing my 2 year old with 10 of antibiotics after determining that she had “bronchitis”?????? He determined this by asking me if she had a cough? I answered she may have coughed twice but that was it. So he proceeded to prescribe her with 10 days of antibiotics. He was rude to us even before seeing my daughter as she was playing on the weighing scales hopping up and down - nothing serious. Told me to “tell her to stop or she’ll break it” - we were in shock and told her to stop. To that lady who was asking for People to leave their names! I didn’t see you leaving yours?? So maybe lead by example and the rest will follow. The reviews on here seem to sound very similar To each other so I doubt that we can all be wrong. He’s clearly suffering from burnout from his position and should possibly show consideration for the patients he sees and resign. He needs a change of career before he actually, some day, sends someone home with a life threatening illness or prescribed meds which potentially be harmful and unnecessary.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
