Have been going to Dr. Barosy for a few years now and I feel that she does a great job. She's very thorough, and always listens to any concerns I have. I also appreciate that her and everyone in her office is always willing to help if I call. I had an issue getting a prescription filled during Covid, and Dr. Barosy and her staff were prompt with figuring out a solution to the issue. Before going to Dr. Barosy, I had 2 of my doctors retire within a few years, then 1 more doctor that left Ft. Madison. I was struggling to find a primary care provider that was reliable, let alone someone who would listen if I had any issues. Dr. Barosy ended up being a great fit for me.

I agree with Stephen in his comment above definitely same experience I had with her came to her as a new patient I have had prescriptions from prior Dr. That she doesn't prescribe point blank. she Didn't want to hear anything I said gave me medicine I have gotten in past that didnt work then and doesn't work for me now but she assured me it would work now...

Dr Barosy is a great Dr. She had good bedside manner, I felt listened to, and taken seriously. She had good questions that made me feel like she wasn’t just trying to fix my symptoms but fix the actual problem. Her nurses were super thorough and competent, also. All in all, I’m super glad she’s my doctor.

Terrible bedside manor. Went to her as a new patient to establish care and get some help with anxiety in which I was not currently not on a medicine for. She had no interest in getting to know anything about me or why I was feeling the way I was. Didn't consider anything I've taken in the past for the same condition. She gave me a new medicine and a referral for someone else to deal with. The prescription made me worse so this did not leave a good first impression. I followed up with a different Dr who listened to me and was invested in getting me better and set me up with something that helped. Unfortunately he's now gone as well so I'm on the hunt again for a PCP.
