List of Peter Ahn's Reviews
I sought out Dr Ahn after my previous physician retired. He’s younger than me but experienced. I’ve found him to be a good listener and advocate for my health.
Stay away from Dr Ahn. With my situation, he ignored the simple empirical evidence and kept trying to order unnecessary tests. I put a stop to it right away, and informed him I no longer wanted him as my doctor. I believe Dr Ahn's agenda is to make as much money he can at his patient’s expense.
Very professional and personable, went above and beyond to help me when I was injured.
Dr. Peter Ahn, MD was my Doctor for many, many years when He and his Father (My Doctor) were here near in CR and in the new Ahn Medical Center 855 Wright Bros Blvd CR. He is the best Doctor one can have. Thank you Peter.
My one-star rating is overly generous, but the lowest this review page allows. Dr. Peter Ahn ordered a 'long over-due' mammogram. My double mastectomy proved that procedure to be impossible. He ordered a prescription that wasn't needed. I didn't take it. Following a 2nd opinion I tossed bottle and pills in the garbage - they were not/never was/and still not needed. I was a patient of his fathers for years and dearly loved the man. He went over and above to find medication that doesn't make me ill. I tried to explain that to Peter. He wasn't interested. I left Peter and his clinic - never to return. I don't recommend him and I share my story with others who ask when looking for medical care. Take a moment to look at the current reviews - notice those from male are good, female reviews are not. That alone should tell you something!!
Doctor Peter Ahn been my doctor, since his father doctor Yang Ahn retired. He is very good like his father and I always get the cares that I needed.
I had my first appointment for a physical with Dr Ahn earlier this week. He was personable and thorough during his examination and questioning. He found a couple issues that we discussed and he gave some good advice. I also felt he took the appropriate level of action to schedule an appointment with a specialist to further check on an issue. His nurse was also personable and thorough. She did a good job verifying my health history and asking questions to further clarify issues. She followed up with a phone call a couple days later to discuss lab work and my next appointment to schedule.
Not particularly personable or caring and we did not leave feeling confident or taken care of. Our family (with two small children) will be switching doctors. Also only in office two days a week - useless if you have children.
HAS VERY LITTLE COMPASSIONATE WHEN IT COMES TO HIS ELDER PATIENTS AND WHEN A PATIENT WITH DEMENTIA MAKES A MISTAKE IN THINKING HE DISCHARGES THE PATIENT DON'T SEND ELDER TO HIM UNLESS YOU CAN ATTEND EVERY VISIT WITH THEM TO ASSURE THE PROPER UNDERSTANDING AND CARE IS PROVIDED. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Just had our first visit with Dr. Ahn. My kids and I both liked him very much and think he will be a good fit for our family. Very easy to talk to, and made sure all of our questions were answered before he left.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
