Fast talking, arrogant. I saw him for my knee and his surgery plan glazed over a lot of the information seen on my MRI. Trying to get the staff at bridger to send my mri to my other doctor has been pulling teeth for 6 months. Not sure if this is all reflects poorly on Legrand’s abilities as a doctor, but definitely been a bad experience
Horrible doctor, 12 weeks post op and my knee is worse than before surgery! Won't even try and get to the bottom of my issues, rather he referred me to a Rheumatologist even though I don't have any arthritis....AWFUL
Totally botched my knee replacement. I am left disabled and will never recover. I have had multiple surgeries to try to fix the issues he created. His surgery was rated a "D" on an A-F scale by a team of medical lawyers. Please do not allow this man to operate on you or someone you love.
I wish I could say I saw Dr. Legrand, however I was turned away from my appointment because I was 10 minutes late. He refused to see me even though I explained to the office staff that my husband is using a walker after a hip replacement a week ago, and I'm in a leg immobilizer and neither of us is driving. We are relying on others to drive us. I have to say his office staff tried twice to get him to see me and he refused. My adult son entered the office and asked again to have me seen and Dr. Legrand came out into the waiting area and exclaimed that he would not give those people another minute of his time! I will not be making another appointment with him. I have found another doctor as he is not my only option. We left the office in absolute shock.
He diagnosed me with arthritis and said he would give me a cortisone injection. When my appt day arrived, the staff said he was not in the office. The PA came in with the injection and did not know which knee to inject, did not have my file or even know my name. After the injection , I walked out of the patient room and Dr. Legrande was dictating at his desk. He was very cocky and arrogant at my time of diagnosis. I sought treatment for my knee after this and diagnosed with torn acl. Front desk staff was extremely rude.
HE IS THE BEST!! I have seen Dr. Legrand for both my daughter and my husband's injuries. He treated us very kindly and his level of knowledge on the injuries was impressive. I thought his entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The bad comments on here seem very unrealistic and out of proportion. He comes highly recommended.
I had a skiing injury. He took a little longer to respond than I thought he should but I guess that means he's busy. He accurately diagnosed and treated me. I seem to be making a quick recovery.
I had acl surgery performed and have never been treated so poorly by any doctor in my life. I experienced a complication in that I could not fully extend or bend my knee without severe pain. The doc said "don't worry mate it will go away". Well it did go away after a second surgery to remove the hardware that was left sticking out and catching on my IT Band. He does not listen, very cocky and arrogant, never has the time to really care about your concerns. I was covered by workers comp and finally changed doctors on my own nickel to get excellent care. WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!
Dr Legrand did surgery to remove a tumor in my knee. I have nerve damage as a side effect. He was not helpful at all in diagnosing this complication nor in treating it. He ignored my emails, hired a new assistant and didn't let me know that the old email was no longer reaching him, and the new assistant lied to me. At the first opportunity he reported inaccurately to my insurance (workers' comp) so that I would be released from them, and have no access to further care. This also meant he was no longer liable for my new injury. He was covering his own butt. Also, the after care I received right after my surgery was not the best. He didn't prescribe physical therapy which should have been standard practice. He also prescribed meds that were unsafe for me, because he didn't ask enough questions. His physicians assistant was not at all concerned when I experienced frightening side effects. I would not recommend this doctor or practice.
Worst doctor I have ever seen treated me very poorly wouldn't recommend him to anyone

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
