I was pleasantly impressed with how quickly they could get me in as compared to my local Hospital. Emmylu met with me to discuss my Symptoms and I felt she was listening, although possibly due to the pain I was in at the time I may not have heard some of the things that were written down on my chart. She was able to prescribe me a few medications which seemed to have helped me the first day/night but haven’t helped me much past that. No, I haven’t called them back yet cause I was hoping that I would eventually get some relief again but nothing yet starting Day #3. There was some confusion at the pharmacy which caused me extra trips but that could’ve been due to insurance reasons, which I do believe I have great insurance but twice one of the prescriptions was declined without any reason given to me. I called Brett and left a voicemail and to my surprise he called me back very shortly. We eventually got the Prescription thing straightened out, now I’m just waiting for my MRI, which could be being held up by insurance, who knows. It’s still early in this process with Iowa Ortho but with my Neighbor’s Enthusiastic Recommendation and the Prompt Service, I’m willing to be keep pushing forward with them so I can get some relief and much needed sleep!

Top notch. Friendly staff. PA Emmylu Johnson was very caring and provided me with a good experience. Which is not the norm for most doctors offices. Go Hawks!

Dr Hale removed part of my toenail on my big toe. But, not before telling me exactly what he was doing and why. The procedure was quick and less painful than expected. GREAT JOB DOC.

Dr Trevor Schmitz was well prepared going over my images before coming into the room. He did a quick assessment of my symptoms, double checked my physical status, and then gave me my options to choose from. After my choice, we went over the pros and cons, and any questions I had. He was very thorough with answering my questions and making sure I understood. I would highly recommend Iowa Ortho and even Dr. Schmitz for their expert advice and opinion.
