List of Ersin Atay's Reviews
At my last appointment Dr. Atay told me repeatedly that I should return to the Mayo Clinic for my condition. I was at that appointment because it had been 3 years since I last saw Dr. Atay and I assumed he would have greater knowledge of how to manage my condition. I was frustrated because I needed help, I am unable to work, and my disability is considerable. Following the last appointment I received multiple letters telling me it was time to come back for a follow up visit with Dr. Atay. I did not go for a follow up visit because I am uncertain if it would be another wasted appointment. I decided to write this review now because of an "After Visit Summary" for May 11, 2021. The summary states that I saw Dr. Atay last week and he made some medication changes. I haven't seen Dr. Atay since September 8, 2020. I don't know why Dr. Atay accepts patients who have conditions he is not familiar with and submits claims for appointments that didn't happen.
Dr Atay has been great with me. He was in surgery with me when I needed a new valve. I would say he was one of many drs that saved my life that day! I'm truly grateful to him.
I thought his bedside manner meaning in his office he could be more personable if you do not follow his recommendations he suggest not seeing you for a year instead of 6 months i think the patient should have a say in this

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
