Alyssa Hoehn's Online Review Report Card

Love Dr. Hoehn. She open, friendly and just over all a nice person. As a doctor she excells. I have to drive 45 miles to see her, but seeing her is worth the drive, even though I could get treatment closer to home. Won't change.

I recently read a blog post by Dr. Hoehn entitled "Is Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery Better Than Traditional Cataract Surgery?" I called her office to make a "telephone appointment" so I could speak with her in more detail about this article. I was able to talk with her the next day after she had finished clinic. She took the time to answer all of my questions and explain things so that I better understood my options in my specific "eye situation". I offered to pay for this consultation, but she declined and simply said that she was happy to help. Not only did she show compassion by taking the time to talk with me after 5pm, but demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the options before me. I am jealous (in a good way!) of all of you that live in the Moscow, Idaho area who have access to such a wonderful ophthalmologist. (I live in Tennessee, so it would be quite a ways to travel to be one of her patients!) I would highly recommend that you consider her for your eye care.

Dr. Hoehn's skills surpassed the treatment that I had received from Lewiston and Spokane! I am grateful to have most of my vision returned under her careful procedures. Some of my treatment involved injections into the eye. Scary stuff ... but her careful care made them easier to do and I felt more at ease than any where else where I was receiving the same treatments.

I've been a patient since her open house introduction. At the time of that open house (establishing the practice), I voiced an eye challenge that had been going on just a few months. She took me immediately into the office and found the cause, and sent me in for treatment shortly thereafter. Our family is grateful, and we continue to go there. And we have recommended Moscow Eye Care to people we know.

Dr. Hoehn is wonderful and patient. She was able to calm my 8 year old down as he doesn't like eye drops. We needed to go in for a follow up and my child said "Oh good, I love that place". His words just say it all.
