This was such an awful experience that it makes me hesitant to ever get any mental health treatment again. I saw her for adhd, as diagnosed already by another provider. She completely disregarded this diagnosis as it was impossible that I could do well in school and have adhd, despite having teachers advocate for me getting tested as a kid and the fact that I have a diagnosis. She then stated more incorrect information about the condition, refused to look at my prior paperwork, and was generally rude in talking over me. She didn’t ask any diagnostic criteria and when I asked about written testing she clearly had her ego hurt because she responded that she didn’t need it because she went to medical school. This experience was absolutely horrible and it is the type of experience that causes mistrust of the medical community.
Didn't listen to anything I said. Was distracted and acted bored. Dismissed my concerns and offered no treatment plan. Went through my file and commented on physical disease diagnosis that she knew nothing about (that I've had for over 10 years and verified and treated by numerous professionals), also saying patently false info on that disease. The worst doctor appointment of my life and that's saying something.
Avoid this doctor! Dr. Kakade does not listen to your concerns. I told her I need some help for ADHD because I am at school and having a hard time focusing and keeping up. She immediately advised that I should quit school and go back in the work force. I told her I'm not quitting school and she told me to take less classes.
This person will piss you off trying to get you off of medicine and will truly not give you your month supply. Last year I use to get my medicine on a certain date this year I am behind for 7 days and every month I’m missing 2 pills because she a horrible Few months ago when she was on a vacation she did not send in my month refil and I missed entire month of supply! We faxed her it’s like she doesn’t care. I’ve talked to her about it she hates writing prescriptions.
Dr. Kakade did not listen to me or my concerns. I saw her about being evaluated for ADHD. I am 30 years old and I am attending college and I cannot focus during class or when I'm completing assignments. I told Dr. Kakade that I believe I have been poorly managing an attention deficit disorder my entire life, but I've never sought help. Her answer? She told me to take less college courses. And then she told me to go back to a 9 to 5 job making $30k a year as I "didn't have any issues working."
When I had my first appointment with her, I knew and felt that she was the one who could help me. She has been extremely helpful at getting back to me my phone when I have either had a question about a new medication or needed to report some side effects I began having after starting the mediction. She listens extremely well, and addresses the issue forthright. She is open minded to my asking about anything in terms of medications. She defines caring/understanding. I trust her. Jan Connor

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
