Heartplace Plano West's Online Review Report Card

Today was my 2nd visit. The staff are exceptional and I felt welcomed and relaxed.

Had my first meeting with Dr Mark Peterman today and he was rude and condescending (his attending staff was very courteous). Not only will I not be returning I will warn everyone I come across not to use him as a doctor. My sister had a long, complicated medical history where she was shuffled from doctor to doctor and I've seen many arrogant doctors in her journey (and very few such nurses), and he is undoubtedly one of the worst I've seen. I'd come prepared with questions and voiced concerns about statins, which is what he immediately prescribed without hearing me out. He waved off any objections without offering explanation other than the doctor version of "because" and seemed upset that I was taking up his time. At the end of the meeting he promptly got up and pointed down the hall where I was to exit, then walked away without a goodbye. A total letdown as a professional, and I hesitate to call him that.

What a horrible experience I had today with an appointment clerk, her name was Sunny and she was everything but that! I will be scheduling my appointments in Allen from now on, although I live in Dallas it will be worth the drive to not be around such terrible customer service.

Horrible place; I will not recommend to anyone;My appointment is at 10:00 am but they told me that I should be there by 9:30 am; No one told me that I have to be there 30 minutes before; Also I have a confirmation email saying that I have to be there by 10:00 am;

I love this office. The whole office is amazing. When you walk in somewhere as scary as there you are greeted with warm smiling and usually plenty of laughter from the whole office. There has been times I have had to wait but my life isn't anymore important than anyone else and i am happy to wait to see my doctor. The girls up front have many times got my insurance to approve a test with only a hour notice and when my insurance changed without me knowing they made calls to my PCP so I didnt have to come back. I would recommend all my family and friends there! Only downside is the parking gets bad, but if you prepare for that you'll be fine. Don't take one negative nancys review too serious without giving them a chance.

Came here as a new patient.. after arriving 30 minutes early to my appointment I was still forced to waIt an hour until I was taken back to be seen.. meanwhile their receptionists have been gossiping and taking pictures of themselves. Sad to see such a lack of concern in the health care industry.

Called for a same day appointment and they were very accommodating unlike many other places I called. Preethy and Dr. Sharan were so nice and took time to listen to my concerns and explain everything to me in detail. I felt much better the next day and have follow up care scheduled with them. I am very fortunate to have found them and feel very confident in their care for the future.

Excellent experience! Was in and out quickly. Dr.Choudhry covered everything and was very pleasant and professional. Parking is awful and make sure you get the right elevators.

I needed to have a cardiologist give approval for surgery scheduled for September, 2019. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Leena Sharan with the Heart Place located inside of Texas Health Presbyterian Plano. Dr. Sharan is personable, caring, compassionate and answers any questions that you may have. Dr. Sharan's staff, Preethy, Alexis, Summer, Kendra and Sunny are personable, organized and a pleasure to work with. I have now found yet another fabulous doctor and I am thrilled!
