Dr. Akladious is the most knowledgeable, caring surgeon we have ever met. My husband had a blocked IVC filter causing multiple bloodclots throughout his body. Dr. Akladious tried for 8 hours to unblock it with no success. He never gave up trying to help John. He contacted doctors at Mt. Sonia in NY to consult with them and the whole Interventional Radiology team to try to help my husband. On January 29th he worked on John for 6 hours. They could not remove the filter, but we're able to push it over and insert stents to open up the blood flow from the heart to the legs. His knowledge has saved my husband. We can't say enough good things about him and the whole radiology team. The compassion and caring he gave to me before and after surgery helped me get through it all. He gave me his direct number and answered all my questions each time I called. I would whole heartedly recommend anyone to Dr. Akladious. We were blessed to have him.
