I visited Dr. Haitz for a rash which she felt may have been Lyme disease. I was unconvinced and spent the remainder of the day reading about the rash of Lyme disease. I was concerned about taking an antibiotic so went in without an appointment the next morning. She agreed to see me at the beginning of her day, agreed that Lyme was unlikely, reviewed the antibody test she had ordered (negative) and advised not to take the antibiotic. She used a steroid ointment for a presumed atypical contact dermatitis.
