Dr. Gupta is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in our area and for good reason. I had a unique hip surgery (FAI and labral tear repairs) and 3 weeks in, I’m already feeling better than expected. Dr. Gupta’s post-op notes were some of the most thorough I’ve ever seen; I felt like I was in the operating room. It’s clear he stays up-to-date on current research and literature, which is why I suspect I’m doing so well. I have friends who had had this surgery with varying success, and it was a comfort to me to know that Dr. Gupta was performing the surgery and would do the very best. I’ve had hip issues my entire life and chronic pain for 15+ years. I’m so excited to be pain-free and have more mobility!

Doctor Gupta was great. But, because I was not an established patient it took me five months to get an appointment with him about my hip, which needs to be replaced; even though they had an earlier opening. Which they refused to give to me. He ended up referring me to an associate for a hip replacement, but now since I have been seen by his office, I got in right away. I have been finding this practice of if you are not a established patient, offices are reserving earlier openings for established patients. You can't see the Doctor for months with most Doctors in Toledo now. I have been suffering for months with my hip because of this. It is like new patients are not a priority no matter how much pain you may be in. I hope this policy is looked at closely reevaluated and changed soon, before someone is seriously hurt. Again I really liked Doctor Gupta and his assistants, just not their policy.

We had a relaxed, informative, professional visit. The problem was discussed and the three possible outcomes were offered. We're proceeding with surgery. I feel very confident about Dr. Gupta.
