Had an emergency surgery on a weekend and he was tgere all weekend. Took amazing care of me. Thanks
He was very reassuring that my back surgery would go well. But it left me in awful pain and I lost my ability to walk for 2 years. I lost my job and I’m still paying for trusting him to this day. His follow up care was terrible.
He was very reassuring that my back surgery would go smoothly and it left me with years of awful pain and my ability to walk for 2 years. I’m still paying for trusting him to this day. I wish I got a 2nd opinion before getting surgery. His follow up care was lacking to say the least.
He took care of me in 2011. Will follow this doc to the end of the earth!
Dr Schroeder came very highly recommended.we had no reason not to trust we were in good ?? care. He missed many opportunities to do the right thing’ make a different diagnosis or just to listen and did not listen to other colleagues or patient advocates. Please get a second opinion before going ahead with major surgery. I wish I had.
Dr Schroeder is very arrogant and sure of himself. If you have a complex case go to a bigger hospital and see a specialist.
He is a good surgeon but is not always great at listening. He is very sure of himself and didn’t often pause to hear what those advocating for the patient were saying.
Dr. Schroeder is very personable. He takes the time to explain what's going on with your nerve issue and answers all of your questions. I definitely recommend him. I've seen plenty of the other specialist and Dr. Schroeder is one of the best physicians.
I have had dozens of specialists, and pain management's telling me I need a surgeon and after my doctor past 20 yrs retired last may I just recently retrieved my medical history to be able to get help.Referring doctor wasn't caring nor took the time to consider helping me.I have been thrown around and lied on,misjudged. I am glad that there was a conflict of interest and Jason Schroeder was referred. He actually took the time to look at my test results and conditions to realize what I am going through and was the first not to say "too much paperwork" or "they didn't have time"Or"I have too many chronic issues."I had to go on my own because even my ex recent referring doc didn't retrieve my records until last week.I had to send myself. Not knowing that all my referrals and specialists had no reason to help me without any mri's nor reporting of them in front of them. I had seen alot of surgeons that ignored my neck issues since 2016. They focused on lower pain that was unfixeable.
I can not say enough about this man. He is an excellent surgeon. He performed my surgery during covid, on Easter day in 2020. My legs and feet were limp, like jelly, causing me numerous other problems. He was right on removing my spinal tumor, no waiting, he did this promptly. He saved my life and I actually can walk now. I will forever be in his debt. What he gave me was priceless. He is a man with empathy and knowledge. He explains procedures thoroughly. In a way that I can understand. He is the best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
