I truly enjoyed meeting with Dr. Healy regarding my significant MRI results. Dr. Healy was professional and thorough when he was explaining what is going on with me and what the next steps will be regarding my severe back pain.

Staff is great , always friendly . Always ask if you have questions. Dr Healy is the best !!! Always explains your films and answers your questions. I never feel rushed .

My appointment after Oct. 17th neck surgery was for 10 minutes. I had questions on paper and wanted answers so needed more time to answer. He did take more time answering questions. He did not look at my neck surgery site, but in a visit summary it says neck is healing. I wish he had looked at surgery site. He explained why I had staples in my head too.

I saw Dr. Healy many years ago for a cervical fusion. He recommended using a metal plate for a one level fusion. I sought a second opinion locally and this surgeon did not recommend using a plate. I went back to Dr. Healy to discuss surgery without the plate. He demanded that I tell him who I got my second opinion from, and said that if I don't tell him he will end the appointment. I told him who I saw, and he slammed his fist down on the table and angrily stated 'I hate Dr. xxxx!' He then began telling me about business conflicts he has had with this other surgeon. I told him I don't need to know anything about this. He went on and on in a very angry tone and ended the appointment very abruptly. I actually felt physically threatened by his behavior. I ended up going to the second surgeon and had a great outcome, thank God! I reported Dr. Healy to the State Medical Board for this behavior. No physician should get away with treating a patient this way!
