The team at the Waterloo location by target were absolutely amazing! They listened to my concerns and were able to help me immensely. I'm on my feet everyday for at least 10 hours so when I started having issues with my knee again from an injury 10 years ago I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to do my job anymore at the age of 26. Everyone there were incredibly kind and patient with me as my schedule sometimes didn't work out the best to be able to get in to my appointments. Overall I am back to being able to do things before with almost no pain and doing my exercises at home and it feels great to know that if I begin to have issues again that I can just call them there and go back. Thank you so much for having such an amazing team so close to home for me!

I have the best therapy at Athletico. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Progressing very well from my hand surgery. Definitely would recommend.

I went in with pain in my left shoulder and neck. It hurt to lift my arm above my head. I was having headaches a lot. The team here gave me the best therapy. I have full range of motion again and feel great. The team gave me exercises that I could work on at home and some that I could do at work as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in need of any therapy. Thank you all for helping me.

My doctor prescribed physical therapy for pain and tingling in my neck so that's where I started with my Athletico journey. All the therapists were very attentive, encouraging, knowledgeable, patient, super nice and quick to identify any exercise I wasn't doing correctly with demonstrations and detailed instructions for which muscles to be working for each. Every visit they were dedicated to getting me on the right path to better mobility and strength. After several weeks of working together we identified the issue was improving but the main source of my discomfort was more in the shoulder. They advised me to revisit my PHP to get a referral for a specialist. From there I was able to have an MRI, surgery and a new order for PT to help with recovery and a more targeted plan for strengthening and mobility. Lastly, they were all complimentary with my progress and seemed genuinely excited to see me reach my goals. If the need arises in the future, I would definitely recommend my friends and family to receive their physical therapy from Athletico. Thanks for allowing me to share my experience. Mary Sullivan

For the past two years I have been struggling with lower back pain. I did PT a variety of times though the course of those two years. When I went to PT with Krista I knew I was going to leave feeling better. Everyone here is so understanding, respectful and kind! They truly are some of the best.

I did not have a good experience there. I went in for a issue with my calf muscle and made the mistake of mentioning id had surgery on my foot(same leg) years ago. They focused 90% of the therapy on my foot, which I had no problems or pain with. Within 2 sessions they have completely inflamed the tendons in my foot, I have constant pain from the time I get out of bed until I go to sleep. They told me to stay off my feet and ice it when I called, kinda hard to do considering I work in a factory on my feet all day. To me it seems the the kind of place where they want to schedule as many appointments as they can and have you keep coming in.

After having broken my hip I was searching for a rehab facility. I had several in the area to choose from and I was l led to choose Athetico South in Waterloo. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I had chosen the right one. Korey, the receptionist was always very friendly and helpful. This facility is very professionally run yet the staff are really nice. I had the opportunity to have Shanna and Ashley help me in a couple instances but my main therapist was Krista with Taylor. I really appreciated that I was pushed to do more than I thought I could and I know that after 4 months I would not have recovered like I did had that not happened. If there was a rating I could find it would be 6 out of 5 stars.

I have completed physical therapy after having 2 knee replacements. The staff has taken the time to get to know me and the goals I have for when therapy ends. They have taken the time to customize a plan to help get me to my goals. The staff has been professional and courteous at every step of the process. I would highly recommend this location moving forward.

My experience with Athletico has been great! Friendly staff, good service in a nice, clean facility. Did a great job helping me gain back my mobility after foot surgery.

I highly recommend coming here for any physical issues. The trainers here are easy to talk to, very flexible with your schedule, and are amazing at what they do. They will work you good and take as long as it takes until you feel better. They have a lot of equipment to help you recover in no time, and they know how to use everything in so many different ways. 100% recommend this place and these lovely trainers!
