Well, I would give 5 stars but the dude up and disappeared and now I am struggling to find another retinal specialist and I need surgery that Dr. Girsheck was going to perform before said disappearance for over a month and then "resigning"from his position at Billings Clinic. As far as a retinal specialist. I thought he was awesome! This is why I am so butthurt over this "resignation" after just over a year of being at Billings Clinic. Totally bummed and a bit ticked off.
Very impersonal, rough, and brusk. Painful injections. Unacceptably long waits, while he chats with employees at the nurses station. Frequently cancels appointments.
Didn't listen well, let me sit to long, should have referred me to another specialist...
He scheduled me for surgery 3 weeks out and the night before, his nurse called and said he wanted me to get a second opinion. Went to another doctor who said we should do the surgery immediately. I blame him for the partial vision loss I have from him waiting and then changing his mind last minute.
There is a very LONG wait time. It two and a half hours before I met the doctor. The 50 plus other people waiting said that two hours is a low average wait time at the office. The doctor confirmed that the wait time is usually two hours, even though I only spent five minutes with the doctor in the room.
Dr Girschek is wonderful with my son. He is patient and explains what he is doing and why. He allows me to have input in my son's care and treatment. He is a great doc.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
