By far the best doctor, and one of my favorite humans! He is so mindful of his patients and the man deserves a reward. If you are looking for a sincere person, who genuinely cares about the health of others, humble, who is beyond educated in his field, here he is. words really cannot describe my great admiration for this doctor..a amazing person, a amazing doctor. Look no further if you want the best.

I can honestly say he is a doctor most mindful of his patients who are suffering. He listens intently and I have never met a psychologist so familiar with the human anatomy. By far, he is the best pain management doctor in all of Maine and the kindest soul. If I wasn't now out of area to see him, I would still go to him. Nobody is so selfless with empathy for patients like Dr. Borkum. If you are looking for a wise,considerate and humble person to help you get to the root of your troubles, nobody will care more (with utmost sincerity) to get you feeling better than this man. If I could give 10 stars, I most definitely would. Hands down, The most compassionate and educated doctor whom I have ever had the pleasure to be seen by. May the work of his hands constantly prosper and may other doctors take note to his integrity.

Gives instruction and practice to help you learn to help yourself manage and cope with your pain. Everything he teaches is documented in valid research. I can't say enough for the skills I learned and they work! I exhausted the knowledge of several specialists and was so fortunate to finally happen upon Dr Borkum! He is an outstanding resource!
