Grand Living is my home!!!I have lived here 7 months and can say it has beenWonderful. !!Not only is it beautiful it is a place of friendships madeAnd every one caring for one another !!The staff is wonderful ; they go out of their wayTo make each day a happy one !I want to thank Grand Living for my new life ofHAPPINESS !!!!!

I do not write posts or reviews often, but I wanted to tell you about my experience with selecting and moving my mom to independent living. We first became aware of Grand Living at Tower Place as we watched it being constructed. Mom had reservations like anyone would. Leaving her beautiful home, living in a new place where she did not know anyone, is this the right time?She took the big step in May 2021. I believed…. but I was a bit I skeptical about Grand Living delivering on their promises. Nine months later, I can say that my mom is incredibly happy and living first class happiness in a beautiful place. The staff is truly a close team that works together to provide the residents with the care and activities they need. From day one, they knew my mom’s name as well as all her 5 children’s names. Mom has met great friends that she eats with, plays cards with, and enjoys all the fun things happening daily. Gone are the lonely days of Covid, going to the grocery store and cooking.One major benefit at Grand Living compared to other places we looked at is that Mom can stay in her apartment and does not need to move to another part of the facility, if she would need the additional services of assisted living. There is no big buy-in or cash outlay as you pay month to month. There facilities are top notch and do remind you of being at a resort with all the amenities.If you are looking for an independent or assisted living I would highly recommend you visit Grand Living at Tower Place. It is a jewel in the Des Moines area for senior living!

Best place I've ever worked at! I get excited to come to work here everyday because I love to spend time with the residents and all the people I work with!

I have been a part of the Grand Living family for a couple of months now. I have worked in the industry for almost 10 years and I have never worked for a company that takes so much pride and ownership in providing remarkable hospitality within a luxurious senior living community. Being a part of our team that is providing First Class Happiness to our residents is such a privilege!

Applied for work here, wasn't given the time of day. People didn't seem to understand the position they where hiring for, really snooty.

I went to the marketing office to pick up whatever informational brochures might be available. I was of course wearing a mask. When I met the appropriate person my first words were “we are strictly quarantined” (my husband and I are in our early 70’s and both have co-morbidities). We talked for about 10 minutes in tight quarters and she did not wear, or offer to wear a mask.If she has political, religious or medical issues precluding a mask I wish she would have told me. We are in Iowa, HIGH infection rate. I assume she is dealing with mostly older individuals. Just not a good impression for a place which supposedly offers safe senior living (to be fair, she was very friendly, otherwise accommodating and well informed).

We just signed my grandma up to move in here. This place is absolutely AMAZING! It's more of a resort than an independent/assisted living facility! She's going to love it here and I can't wait to come try out the restaurants with her. The entire staff was extremely helpful and compassionate. She'll be in good hands here. There's nothing else in Des Moines that compares to Grand Living.

Terrible location

Great Building, once it'll be finish it will be FABOULOS.Spoke with the people in the office and they both were very helpful and polite. Highly recommended.

Went in to inquire about few things, the gal that meet me at the door was nice and wore a mask the entire time, they do care about the safety and well-being of others . Above all, the place looks welcoming and nice addition to West Des Moines!I would strongly incurage future guests not to get caught up on the previous reviews as though they seemed like they didn't have much to do with the business itself and more or less how that individual felt that specific day.
