Dr. Curran is a good Dr. and did a great job on my shoulder and knee. I have another shoulder injury and tried to get an appointment and was denied because I did not get a referral from another Dr. Medical cost is high enough that I feel that it is wrong to have to pay another Dr. just to get in to see the Dr. you want. I do not know if this is his policy but it is the policy of the group he works with. I did some research and found another good Dr. that does not require a referral. The 1 star is for the policy not for Dr. Curran.

Dr. Curran is very professional yet very kind and easy to talk to. He did my third knee replacement ,today, yes... my third because we had to redo one on my first knee replacement. He's very thorough, very kind, and listens. I have great respect for the doctor.

I had knee replacement surgery a year ago. I was so glad I had Dr. Curran do the surgery and I'm very happy with the results. He is very professional, but also personable and I had the best experience and results of anyone I know who has had knee replacement. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Curran takes the time to listen. He's very good, encouraging, easy to talk to. I was apprehensive because I had an issue with a nurse in his practice but I am so glad I chose Dr.Curran. I had a full knee replacement 5 weeks ago.

My recovery from total left knee in April by Dr Curran is so much better than my recovery from total right knee last July by a different surgeon that I constantly remark about it to anyone I talk to. Friends and relatives remark about how well I am doing. Minimum pain and discomfort. I was doing so well the physical therapist who came into my room to discuss my follow up treatment released me immediately. Dr Curran called me at home to apologize that he had not seen me. A class act.
