Front desk people are nice,efficient and explain everything very well. Blake is busy and usually in a hurry but covers everything and is very thorough. He also takes time to acknowledge personal achievements with a smile. Great place.

Extremely disappointed in Blake’s care (PA-C). He was extremely rushed when seeing my husband (practically ran into the room), did not make eye contact, and prescribed two medications for a sudden onset of new symptoms without asking any personal health questions or if he had recent bloodwork done. I brought this to his attention in the room and he responded “oh, have you have any bloodwork done?” Mind you, had several panels done prior to the visit to provide him with more info. Rather than trying to help us work through what may be going on, he decided to cut the visit short and stick with his initial plan. We left very disappointed and frustrated with the care we received. Do not recommend this provider. I am sure the others are great. A provider should be compassionate and caring, not rushed for no reason, especially when we were there on time. There was not a single patient in the waiting room when we got there nor when we left.

We love it here. Scheduling is easy and the desk staff are so helpful. Appointments are available quickly (new patient appointment for a concern was available within 2 weeks of calling). All the providers are at least PA-level which is reassuring. Jon Fox is excellent - very knowledgeable and going to get to the bottom of things to find a solution and proper treatment plan. It's nice being able to do bloodwork right here in house before physicals, no need to schedule the bloodwork or go to another facility. There is very little wait time both in the waiting room and in the exam room to see the provider. The medical assistant who helped was very kind and helpful as well and made us feel comfortable here! Parking was also easy and it is a convenient location in Meridian.

Erin is the absolute best. Not only is she an amazing doctor who always makes me feel heard but she’s also a super kind and funny person. Everyone who’s helped me has been great.

Erin is great and the staff is fantastic here. They are a great fit for any age and Erin truly listens to your worries and works with you. The world need more doctors like her that care about their patients

Boise Family Medicine is fantastic! I’ve been going there for years and it seems to get better and better with each visit. They always take the time to listen to my questions and answer them as we go along. The staff is very professional yet fun to be around. They do a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I used to love this practice, Liz Judy was my practitioner, and everything was great. As of late, I see Erin Montgomery and have been so incredibly disappointed. It seems like billing has become à la carte, if I bring up the itchy spot on my back at my wellness exam it’s $100, I was given a new diagnosis of high cholesterol which caused my labs to go up $100. I’ve never had this diagnosis before And blamed it on my appointment being over the holidays and bad eating. I Wanted to take care of it personally. But now I have this diagnosis that they won’t get rid of and it’s caused my labs to become more expensive as they are now “ ruling out.” Recently, I needed a refill of sumatriptan for migraine. It’s well documented in my history, and after two weeks, and two requests from the pharmacy, I called the office twice and Erin sent the prescription through for nine tablets with zero refills. She only did this after making me schedule an appointment for a wellness exam, which I’m actually not due for until October, This was in June, she made me schedule that appointment before she would send a refill for my sumatriptan, and then I had to beg for some Zofran for the nausea. I mentioned to the receptionist that I felt like I was having to beg, and she laughed. I don’t see the humor in this. And I’m sick of their office. No more no more! I don’t know what their profit margin is, but it seems like they are squeezing me for every dime.

I have been a patient at Boise Family Medacine for over two decades! When Dr. Mock decided to retire I felt thankful he chose to leave Tara Brumpton in charge of his fantastic practice! Tara, and her staff, have been completely thorough during every visit and have taken excellent care of me. Tara Brumpton, and her entire staff, are kind, empathetic, caring, knowledgeable caregivers who really care about every patient they see. The front desk staff remembers my name and are always kind. Super happy with the quality of care provided by Erin Montgomery and the BFM team. Clean, comfortable office, professional, kind, and knowledgeable staff. Overall, I leave every annual physical visit (and every visit in between) feeling taken care of. I went here a few times. But one time in particular, I went for a simple esa note, which didn't even happen, but instead I got sent to St Luke's all because my suicidal thoughts were "too high". Which then landed me an over $1k bill. So thanks Blake for giving me that awesome gift. I also called to cancel an appointment once, I gave the person I talked to my name, date of birth and when the appointment was, but my appointment never got canceled. Thanks for nothing.
