Very rude I tried to ask a couple of questions about an issue I was having, and he got very rude and argumentative because I didn't agree with his diagnosis couldn't even ask question about that issue I was having or ones about the covid 19 vaccine sadly.
Tried to ask questions about a diagnosis but when I didn't agree with it he got very rude and argumentative. Could ask about anything with that issue or about worry I was having with the covid 19 vaccine very sad.
He circumcised my newborn and did such a poor job of it. We have had nothing but problems with our babies penis health since then. This doctor was heartless and rude before the procedure and shouldn't be working with people.
Dr. Peterman was rude and unprofessional during our appointment. He was filling in for another provider, and told me I was not allowed to stay during my son’s circumcision. While I would have accepted that, he went on to tell me that he would allow HIS patient’s mothers to stay in the room, but that he’d had issues with my doctor’s mothers before! I was shocked and extremely upset afterwards. The only reason we went through with it was because we were told it had to be done in a certain amount of time, or we’d have to go to a urologist to get it done. Overall, he was short and rude to me, and I’m shocked he’s a pediatrician.
I've known Dr Peterman my whole life, my brother and I both. I loved him so much as a kid that I faked sickness so I could go see him! Now Dr Peterman sees my 3 children, they love him too. I have never, ever had any issues with him. He's very friendly but definitely straight to the point which is great for me personally. If you have more to discuss, he will answer your every question until you're satisfied. He doesn't like to prescribe anything unless it's totally necessary and there have been several times my kids could have had a prescription if I wanted them to, or whatever it was would likely go away on its own and he always makes that the parents decision. I appreciate that so very much! When I needed shots as a kid, I would hide under the table and hang onto the legs and make them pull me out. Dr Peterman loves telling the kids those stories and they always think it's hilarious! I recommend Dr Peterman all the time. He is a fantastic pediatrician and man. He deserves a 5 star rating across the board!
I was given Dr. Peterman's name from a dear and trusted friend after being told (after waiting quite a few days for a decision) by three different clinics in the valley that they weren't taking new patients (despite what their websites all said). Dr. Peterman and his office were not only helpful, but kind, direct, and didn't waste my time. My nine month old had an excellent experience at his office. The negative reviews Dr. Peterman has below seem strange to me, almost like someone is trying to settle a score or something. I wasn't planning to even write anything, but I felt the guy needed a more fair assessment than the angry staff member below gave him. Honestly, he's not a warm and fuzzy type, but I went to school out east so maybe his approach doesn't bug me. Frankly, I'd rather have his direct no nonsense approach to my child's care than someone who will be my new best bud. After all, we are talking about my child's health here, not a new drinking buddy or a popularity contest.
David has been my pediatrician for all 3 of my children and my 3 grandchildren. When I had a downs sysdrome child David was very clear and explained exactly what was to be done and what the timeline was. No fussing around, gave me the information I needed to process this urgent matter. David does have a low key type personality, but I have known him for years and he is VERY good to his clients and patients.
He is arrogant and not at all personable. I know people who think he is wonderful, but also have had many who agree with my opinion. He delayed my son having tubes put in his ears, and completely disregarded the audiologist and speech therapist's recommendations. This set my son's development back almost a year.
I used to work with Dr Peterman in the hospital and could not believe the way he treated the staff. He was rude, demanding and abrupt. I observed him being equally short with his patients and their parents. I would not take my children to him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
