Staff was condescending. I had been told they would verify my insurance before my appointment. I have Medicare and a supplemental policy. When the Medicare contact relayed my dental insurance was through another company it was not followed up on. My appointment was several days later. My insurance was not verified when I came in for my appointment. I waited for some time for it to be verified. I commented I did not understand why this had not been done sooner. My insurance has full coverage dental. Before the dental hygienist began my cleaning she chastised me for not knowing my insurance coverage and told me it was not the dental office' s responsibility . I left at that time. I am still surprised by her reasoning that it was an appropriate thing to do. Would definitely not recommend.

Dr. Higginson is wonderful. I've referred my daughter and she now sees him also. I had a horrible dentist growing up. Mom and I regularly discuss how awful he was. It has scarred my experience of going to the dentist for any kind of procedure other than a general cleaning. I recently had to have minor work done and it is a terribly scary ordeal for me. Dental work is always painful for me. Dr. Higginson is very gentle, kind and caring. Although it's still not my favorite experience I'm thankful to have this Dr for the necessary work that has to be done.

Got me in this morning with no prior appointment as a new patient with a tooth emergency. Needed an emergency root canal and my needs were addressed right away. I seriously can’t thank you all enough!! Thank you Dr. Hess and your team. Thank you to the woman who took my call and probably could hear my pain and desperation❤️! True empathy from start to finish. We will be coming here from now on.

I was visiting Boise from out of town and had a dental emergency. I found that not many offices are open on Fridays. Dr Hess saw me, treated me and sent me on my way. Everyone in his office was so kind and attentive. I could not have been more pleased with the care I received. Highly recommend!!

Am 80 years old and have lived in 8 states across the country. Lighthouse dental is the friendliest, most caring, and professional office, front and back that I have ever experienced. They make a dreaded encounter exceptionally pleasant.

Dr. Chad Hess is the first dentist I don’t want to punch in the face. Strongly recommend this man! The staff are surprisingly pleasant as well. If you find yourself in need of dental work this is the place to go.
