I found Idaho Dermatology Collective after using a large dermatology group for my first years in Boise. I have a large history of basil cell cancer and needed a MOHS group to handle the work if I develop another case. I cannot recommend this group enough. Very personalized service after having the large group I previously used just shuffle you in and out. I never have to wait more than a few minutes for my appointments and between the PA and Dr Layher I get all the time I need to talk through any issues. Wish I had found them earlier.

Dr. Layher is a great doctor to have working for you. She along with her staff make sure your experience is as painless and thorough as possible. She is efficient and compassionate at the same time. I highly recommend her for your care!

The whole staff is so sweet there. Also, my dermatologist Ashley Cafferty is so sweet and patient. I had a lot of questions about my situation going on with my skin and she answered every single one. I definitely recommend this place and her.

Dr Layher, Natalie and all of the folks at Idaho Dermatology are magnificent! I always feel welcome and well cared for there. I can't imagine going to anyone else for my dermatological needs.

I called to get a price on a laser service, which the front desk staff stated she could not provide unless I was seen in a consultation as skin types are different. I asked to book a consult (which was multiple weeks out) and she stated it would cost 100.00 dollars to do so. I explained that I didn't want to waste money on a consult without having an idea or range of what the laser service may cost. It didn't make sense to go and spend 100 dollars just to find out they may be incredibly over priced and then I've now forfeited 100. She said she couldn't provide a range for me either. I asked if I could please speak to a manager and she refused, telling me that she would tell me the same thing. Where on Earth does front desk staff have the right to refuse a customer to speak to a manager. It isn't even about the money, these places won't provide cost over the phone bc they want the opportunity to upsell the product. If that wasn't the case they would be able to provide a range from most economic cost to more expensive costs based on past cases. Absolutely ridiculous. I have multiple friends interested in this service and I will not be recommending.
