Jeremy Toomey's Online Review Report Card

I ended up with Dr. Toomey from a visit to St. Luke's E.R. I had fallen while carrying a glass bottle and the broken glass went in the side of my hand and poked a tiny hole in my palm. The glass was removed in the ER and it was stitched up. I was told to call the next day for an appointment but was put off for a week as I was told the Dr. Had reviewed my chart from ER. Dr. Toomey was arrogant and told me he would do surgery the next morning as he was going on vacation. He told me he was going to do a carpal Tunnel, but I ended up with a scar covering my whole palm and have numb fingers. Now, 22 months later I still have pain and numbness from this "botched" surgery. I had to have another surgery by a competent surgeon to relieve the pain in my thumb, which Toomey wouldn't even check out. I also had physical therapy for 40 weeks at my own expense, which didn't help much. He is not likable or truthful but fortunately not at St. Luke's anymore. Unfortunate for Allied Healthcare who hired him. He is not a competent hand surgeon. Now I have to live with pain and numbness the rest of my life. DO NOT GO TO HIM!!!!! Note: It is now 2023 and I have a totally numb left hand despite physical therapy 2 x month. Sad, when a patient is referred to such a loser from the ER. I should have followed my gut feeling.

Dr. Toomey is a phenomenal physician and even better human. Saw him for a hand injury that we were initially able to be treated conservatively. I really appreciated his thoughtful planning and, when needed, surgical intervention. The follow up PT and work with Andrea, PA-C was spot on. Back to work as an emergency medicine doc with full function.

I seen him a few years ago for my hand and arm issues he did a great job. I needed to be fixed so I could go back to work right away I scheduled for repair. Later my left side was having issues and I went on the hunt I went to st Luke’s and he was gone the clinic there found him for me and he got me in the same day. I was fixed in a short amount of time. If I could give home more stars I would thank you very much sir it’s all doing well

Dr. Toomey helped my husband Dean with a hand surgery. His pinky finger had been injured way back in his college days But now he could no longer get it to straighten When I asked him what would be the best situation, he suggested the Ray's procedure. It turned out beautifully. Now my husband knows how to measure 3 fingers of whiskey! Thank you Dr. Toomey! You are the greatest!

By far best surgical experience. Removed a mass from my finger. Would highly recommend - wish I would’ve consulted with Dr. Toomey earlier instead of putting this off as long as I did. Much less pain than anticipated and my finger healed up quickly.

My procedure all went very well, had a good recovery and Dr, T/staff always made me feel very comfortable....SUPER satisfied!!

I underwent 3 separate hand surgeries with Dr. Toomey over the course of 2 years and everyone of them was extremely successful. His office and operating room staff provided the best of care and convalescence. I recommend him VERY highly as the best in his field.

10/10 recommend Dr. Toomey! Not only is he very personable and kind but completely fixed my carpel tunnel issue in one visit. He made the injection process easy and quick and got me feeling 100% again!

I am a family practice physician in boise and used Dr Toomey all the time for referrals and he has always done a great job. Patients like him. When I had a hand problem I saw him and he took exceptional care of me and I had no complications with my surgery. I highly recommend him and still refer the majority of my patients to him, including my personal family.

Dr Toomey has done multiple surgies on me. He is an amazing surgeon. He is professional and caring. He really cares about his patients and their outcomes.
