Primary Health Medical Group - Cole & Fairview's Online Review Report Card

I'm an insulin-dependent Type 1 diabetic who relies on a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) to monitor blood glucose levels and administer insulin. I ran out of refills for my CGM's (and didn't learn so until the one I had on expired) unexpectedly and my primary doctor was busy and unable to respond, so I urgently booked an appointment (for 15 minutes later) to request a refill. Upon checking in they informed me they wouldn't refill it, because I didn't have a primary care physician with them. The provider also came out and told the lady at the front desk that she can't because she doesn't want to deal with pulling my medical records and my diagnosis. I was clearly frustrated (because it's a life or death situation where I can't afford to go any amount of time not tracking my blood glucose just like all insulin-dependent type-1 diabetics) and asked why they wouldn't do that and if there was another primary health that would. The lady at the front very rudely snapped at me and said she doesn't know anyone that would refill my cgm and that I need my pcp or a dr that specializes in diabetic diagnosis (as if I need to be diagnosed again). Clearly seeing I was distraught at the danger this situation was presenting, she decided to make another snappy remark about the paper I was filling out. Wouldn't recommend going here unless you are in the mood to waste your time and money and risk your health. This clinic and their employees are an absolute joke, and I'm honestly very shocked they're completely fine taking on the liability of something like this all because the provider is lazy and incompetent.

Ryan Burke is the best Dr I've ever worked with. He's kind and he cares so much for his patients. He took a phone call to help me. He took time out of his busy day to care for someone who really needed him. Thanks

Went in yesterday to get a routine screening for my daughter. The receptionist told me that they were not able to do it without orders on what type was needed. I returned the next day with the required information to be told that they don’t even do the screening I needed at their facility. I’m incredibly annoyed as I felt like that was information she could have give me the day before so that I didn’t waste my time going there again. Honestly was pretty disappointed with the lack of assistance from the front office with this. Have had previous experiences with them that have not been stellar so this is the last time they will be receiving my business.

Did not even try to figure out the cause of my health concern, did one test which was negative, prescribed antibiotics for it anyway which did nothing and did not run any other tests to see what the issue was.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate it. Jessica, at the front desk, was especially helpful 😄

Polite and professional reasonable wait time

We came here after being sick for a week and having a hard time breathing the doctor did a short two minute back X-ray .and said I was good and I'm just getting over a flu . The next morning I ended up in the ER they did a X-ray and couldn't believe they (primary health ) didn't see I had pneumonia. And how sick I was . The er doctor said I could of gotten septis. So please be very careful go with your gut and always get a second opinion
