List of Sterling Urgent Care's Reviews
Name is misleading. I looked up Urgent care ong google. Urgent means somebody would be there to take care of a problem. There is nobody at the desk. Just a computer where you wait for someone to pop up and start asking questions. If you have time to fill out forms, this might not be a bad place. But "urgent" this is not. I won't be surprised if there is a lawsuit in the future. Rename this place. Im only giving the bad rating because I can see this mistake getting somebody killed.
Chuck Fuller ordered a test they claimed they didn’t process anymore. Even though I had the same test done 3 days before by another dr. Then he ordered the wrong test, and tested me for everything that I DIDNT ask for. It’s impossible getting someone to answer the phone. The messages on the app don’t work. Why am I paying $120 month for a membership that is wasting my time and money??? The only reason I haven’t walked out yet is because of Angela Abel (who is actually great!). She gets 5 stars. I have never had any issues with her. She is professional and gets things done, the correct way. I also have never had issues with the other drs there.
I will never take my child to Sterling again. The check in process was confusing with it being on computer screen not a person in front of you. The PA seemed like he was in a hurry to get us out of there and barely even looked at my daughters ears then said he would send a prescription over to our pharmacy. That never happened. After finding out that the script was never sent to the pharmacy I attempted to contact Sterling appx 10 times and left messages but still haven't heard back. So I have to take my daughter to ANOTHER physician to be seen/diagnosed so that she can have the medication she needs to get better.
Great care. Medical assistance was prompt.
Sterling has a highly effcient staff and the providers are caring and kind.
I went there due to a workers comp injury. I would have gone anywhere but there if I could have. I was in major pain from an injury at my last job. I was told I could get another steroid shot since it had been over 6 months. So I waited and was told by the "Doctor" he would not give me a steroid shot, he also didn't tell me what other sterling I could go to to get this shot. He said he was referring me to an orthopedic specialist, which he never did. I would recommend primary health or anyone else but Sterling. They don't do crap, at least this location doesn't.
Horrible experience. The medical provider, who treated me, diagnosed me wrong…twice, The diagnosis was simple: textbook ringworm. A school nurse could’ve done a better job. I even told her I thought it was ringworm, & she dismissed me. I was told it was “contact dermatitis” the first time & “maybe a bacterial infection” the second time. Her solution? A steroid cream (which makes ringworm worse!). Five days later I come back, only to be handed baby Claritin & told to “put ice on your rash for the itching.” I spent five days in misery from my first appointment to my second. Ended up going to my Primary Care, who was mortified I was given a steroid cream for a fungal infection. Don’t go here, if you want a proper diagnosis &/or nurse assistants, who don’t look like they’re skipping high school art class. Does this photo look like “contact dermatitis” to you? Geez! Unbelievable….
Tell me why become a doctor if you honestly don't care about helping others. Went here the other night because my 3 year old son had his finger slammed into a door. They literally have a sign in the waiting room saying they do care for laceration and broken bones. My son is bleeding from his finger, crying and they just to turn us away because they don't know if they could do anything if he wouldn't sit still...how could you look at a child in pain and not care enough to try and help. It seemed more like they didn't want to help him because they were closing in the next thirty minutes and just wanted to go home. Don't waste your time and just go to the ER if you have a child that needs help and people at least act like they care.
An ER ran tests on me; told me to follow up with primary care and Angela Abel of Sterling Urgent & primary care stated that maybe I had a bad ER Dr (I guess all the tests they ran was bad too????) and to just go back to ER and maybe if I need referral to specialists or anything regarding my recurrent syncope that any ER can do that??? WHAT? She was lazy and did absolutely nothing. Recurrent, ongoing issues is not what ERs are for- they do not diagnose nor are they there to do a general work-up exam as she suggested. The provider did: No orthostatic vitals. No blood work. No exam. But I am sure getting charged $200 for it. Avoid these folks at all costs because you’ll pay for negligence from a NP that doesn’t want to work.
Between the transactional treatment from staff and a "fish bowl" waiting room it felt more like a business exchange than healthcare. They were also unable to give me a cost breakdown of my estimate.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
