I've had knee pain for 5 years. I was referred to Dr Nicola and from the minute I met him I felt at ease. He sent me to a joint class which prepared me for surgery and recovery. I also downloaded a recovery app which prompted me to do my exercises and I was asked to report my pain levels. Very professional! I am 3 months out and I'm so glad I had knee surgery and loved the Nicola team ! Also have to mention that my incision was beautifully sewn back together! I've seen some nasty scars... but not mine!

Dr. Nicola, besides being a renowned surgeon and physician, becomes your friend as he enters the room the first time. He's been my Orthopedic go-to for 7-8 years and I wouldn't think of changing. I respect him so very much.

Dr. Nicola and his team are the best. I researched extensively, met with two other surgeons, and selected Dr. Nicola. I had total knee replacement on August 24th and six weeks later I was playing golf again. Everything went perfect. Dr. Nicola has an excellent "bedside manner". His PA who assists in the surgeries, Craig Jamison, is also excellent. "Thanks Craig, my scar is barely noticeable." I believe Dr. Nicola and his team are the best in the Treasure Valley for total knee replacement.

had a buckle tear in my knee on my miniscus and dr nicola did a great job and I am overly happy after 5 years and I am running and doing great.

Loved Dr Nicola and staff. I was very nervous and the surgery center staff was also fantastic. It's been 15 days and already SO much better! Don't wait..have Dr Nicola treat you quickly!

This guy did a knee replacement on a family member and put the knee on crooked then repeatedly denied it. Now the crooked knee is causing other issues. Go elsewhere.

I went to Nicola with knee pain. After xrays and diagnoses he said he could do repair work. He said it would take care of the pain. After recovering from the surgery I still had pain. Nicola said I would need a knee replacement. I was angry because he should have told me in the first place. I saw another surgeon who told me he had heard similar complaints. More surgeries means more money.

He messed up my shoulder too. Said he put screw in bicep random and did not. Didn't shave AC joint enough and need up with more surgeries Not from him.

Dr. Nicola is a very patient, kind and knowledgeable orthopedist. He explained everything so completely about my knee replacement surgery that I was totally at ease and ready for my life changing operation. After six weeks of recovering I was able to walk around gardens, Greenbelts and do gardening in my huge yard.
