I wouldn’t typically leave reviews like this but, I was really put off by the experience I had trying to reach out to Heritage Health FSS. I’ve been dealing with mental health issues and have been looking into counseling. I reached out to them hopeful that I could get set up with a therapist but understood that it may not happen. I called and asked if any providers were taking on new patient. My question was quickly answered with a flat “no”. The receptionist was rude and quick to get off the phone with me and I was left feeling very let down. I understand that there may not be providers available to see me at this time but, as a Family Support Service, I was hoping for more information, feedback and overall effort to help someone who is dealing with a mental illness. I’m very shocked at the lack of professionalism I experienced with them. And with that, I will be looking elsewhere for a therapist.

THE worst receiptionist ever! Arrogant, Self-serving, with absolutely no idea of caring patient service in any time! I didn't get the care I know I need because of her!!!

My dr is amazing here. However, I’ve had too many scheduling mishaps due to their error to not mention.When I need to be there I need to be there.

When I mentioned how much I loved my boyfriends dog, my therapist, pointed out how beneficial animals can be during depression Fast forward - Later on I decided to get a dog due to her guidance and I asked for an Emotional Support Letter for a small dog because my housing situation requires a letter. I was told that "there practice does not write those types of letters" and to go to my family doctor. My family doctor told me that only therapists can write those letters. I spoke to the owner of the practice and she had cops remove me from the building because I wanted further explanation as to why they couldn't provide that but she said there is no explanation: - Signed the girl without a child or a dog
