My husband had a doctor's apt today at 3:15 waited an hour went to the front desk to ask how much longer and they stated that Dr Gorman was literally 2 freaking hours behind like how inconsiderate to let anyone stay there waiting for an hour only to be told there's that long of a wait... It's disgusting... My husband will be switching cardiologist indefinitely... Never go here not recommended... On top of him only wanting to push pills instead of finding a solution actual paint care is not happening here.... This whole facility should be looked into!

Did very basic tests and wouldn’t dig deeper even though there was a strong family history of heart disease. Two years later we’re getting the necessary tests showing really unfortunate results. Wouldn’t recommend.

Very unprofessional. This guy verbally accosted me in public for not wearing a mask into a local gas station store. He himself was also very hypocritical and getting in my face without even wearing his own mask. I’ve never been a patient of his but if there’s one thing I do know is that I won’t be seeing him for any cardiac issues, and recommend others look elsewhere as well.

Great Dr that has helped with my pacemaker

I am so disgusted with Dr Gorman. My aunt was in there and goes occasionally for her own heart issues, as well as most people in my family as we all have hereditary defects.. He brought up some tests that she had done elsewhere for completed unrelated issues, and then used it as an opportunity to bring up the vaccines.. My family is very much "do the research, learn everything there is to know before you make a decision that can potentially effect your health" type of people. And we believe in the right to choose what is best for your own individual circumstances when it comes to your health and your body.. Upon learning that my aunt is choosing to not vaccinate at this time (and will continue to maintain safety precautions - mask, distancing, sanitizing) Dr Gorman proceeded to berate her, degrade her, shame her, and then tell her that if she ends up in the hospital with heart complications to not call him because he would refuse to come, and that if she got sick from covid again to do everyone a favor and stay home and just suffocate.. That is not an exaggeration, that is really what he said.. He had a rough night at the hospital the night before, so I understand having a bad day, and I understand having opposing views.. But to tell your patient that, is so shameful and disappointing. My aunt takes every precaution to keep herself and others safe, she's just choosing to wait on the vaccine because in the research she's done she doesn't feel comfortable and safe with it yet. She's not hurting anyone, she's not judging anyone, she just wants to feel safe and these don't make her feel safe.. Shame on any professional that tells their patient to stay home and suffocate because they don't agree with the choice they make for themselves. Shame on you Dr Gorman.

Even though I don't see Dr. Gorman anymore (I see the congenital heart doctors at UofU), I only remember good times with him. He was the doctor that ordered the tests that found my low thyroid. He knew that what I was feeling wasn't from my heart. He was always kind to me, and if he ever sees me, he remembers me and greets me with a smile! I have decided to only go to the UofU for the rest of my life, mainly because I need a doctor that specializes in congenital problems, but I can honestly say that if I ever went to a cardiologist in the southeast Idaho area, I would definitely go to him!

Patrick is a condescending self-absorbed man who thinks he walks on water. He will not listen to me, the patient, and believes that just seeing him is his gift to the world. There are much better cardiologists in Idaho Falls, and I found one pretty quick. And, his nurse follows in his footsteps - rude, won't return calls, and very impatient and short if you do get to talk to her. I wonder where she gets that from. Not! If you think you are as important as you should be and you deserve better for your hard-earned money (even if it's paid by an insurance company) - stay away from Patrick Gorman!!!

This man promised me a surgery to help me I went twice to him to consult about it spent months trying different meds that didn’t work and paying the price to see this specialist. Putting my hopes in this surgery would help me chronic life altering condition and on the third visit he said that he doesn’t do this surgery like he didn’t even remember my last visits. This happened years ago but I still remember the tears and numbing defeat after he dismissed me.

I usually don’t review anything unless it was a terrible experience, and Dr. Gorman was that. My wife had been searching for help with a health issue that was a difficult to diagnose, her symptoms acted like MS (fatigue, imbalance, numbness of hands, and extreme exhaustion). So our doctor recommended we get an echocardiogram and it revealed she had a hole in her heart between the left and right Atria. Hoping that we could get help and maybe some answers we scheduled an appt with him and he couldn’t have been more dismissive and condescending. The hole in her heart is common, 1 in 5 people have it and that it was an incidental finding. We have since learned from another doctor that my wife has Lupus. And with our follow up he was again condescending and acted like we were wasting his precious time after we waited for an hour. Then he went on to place seeds of doubt about her Lupus diagnosis, and that she shouldn’t believe that it is Lupus just because she has the markers for it. We have been on a 3 year search for answers to what is ailing her and when an auto immune specialist says it is Lupus, then we have a cardiologist trying to step out of his specialty and act mad that we were even there, we walked away upset and questioning ourselves. Needless to say we didn’t need a cardiologist, we were just looking for help and he acted irritated by the entire experience of us making an appt and looking for answers. We will never go back to Gorman again, I would search out another cardiologist before seeing him.
