I was referred to Dr. Weight by my personal physician. Dr. Weight ordered an MRI and then proceeded to explain the MRI in great detail. I am now 2 weeks post op for L5-S1 decompression and could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Weight for anyone needing back surgery.

Dr. Weight understood my high degree of pain, looked at my tests and took care of my issues urgently. His staff was efficient and listened to me. Dr. Weight and his staff are top notch, care about my issues and got me on my healing path. I continue to improve and am getting back to my normal activities.

Dr. Weight and his staff are efficient and attendant. I developed crippling lower back pain over a period of several months. I tried chiropractic help and massage therapy, but the pain continued. I finally decided I needed specialized help. Dr. Weight's office was quick to get me in and assess my back problem. They didn't push me to surgery, but when other treatments provided only temporary relief, I was able to get a decompression surgery. Pain was IMMEDIATELY relieved and I am healing well.

Wish I would have started here! Erin and office staff is very good, and Dr. Weight did a great job. He is approachable and likeable, and even laughs at my dumb jokes. Glad to be a customer here.

I went to Mark Weight for a herniated c6-c7 disc. He started me with steroid epidural which killed the pain, but I still had reduced motor control, so we tried another shot 4 weeks later. All my pain came back and my motor control was still reduced. I endured that for 3 weeks and finally gave into surgery. Not once did Dr. Weight suggest surgery as a first or even second option, which was nice. He was so calm and chill about everything it was almost unnerving considering the severity (or so how I felt) of the situation. Apparently getting a disc replacement is very straightforward and simple procedure. Surgery went perfectly and the pain was all gone immediately. The muscles on my left side affected by the herniated disc atrophied exponentially more than my right side. In hindsight, I would have continued doing whatever I could to try and maintain the muscle. My only suggestion would be to ask Dr. Weight to inform your spouse the outcome of the surgery when he's done. That's something my wife was waiting for. I ended up calling her shortly after I woke up to catch her up on everything, but that was like 3 hour afterwards. I added a photo of the scar (at 12 weeks) because it's so clean. He does great work. I would highly recommend seeing him for your spinal issues.
