Great bedside manners

Not so good. Dr. McCann operated on me for diverticulitis in August 2018. I developed a leak at the connection site, which he denied. Had another surgery for ileostomy. Meanwhile, Dr McCann left his practice, without telling me , while I was still under his care. Not very thoughtful. Next I developed sepsis and nearly died. Went to another colorectal group when it was time to reconnect my colon and they suggested Cleveland Clinic or Tampa General. After my first surgery, but before ileostomy, I asked Dr McCann to explain to me about what was happening.He never called. Totally unprofessional.

I had a real bad equine wreck 5 broken ribs shoulder blade leaky lung. Dr.McCann is in Idahos EIRMC hoslital. He is incredibly caring skilled and highly intelligent. He told me he loves what he is doing. I had two other Montana doctors working on me from St.Petes in Helena who were awful... they did nit want to repair my ribs .. just said some how let them heal... unacceptable After much research I found Dr. McCann in Idaho falls at EIRMC. With the latest technology available he repaired and plated my ribs with titanium. In short he gave me my body back skillfully repaired to be able to go on and enjoy life. many many thank you great surgeon doctor

It has been 1 year since Dr McCann did surgery on my diverticulitis. He opened me up in November 2017 and put me back together in April 2018. He saved my life and I am 100 per cent thanks to him. I would trust him with my life again and am very grateful. Keith nelson
