I am writing this while listening on the phone to computer tell me for the 10th time that my time is valuable. I think that Dr. King is great, but the office and institution of Saltzer is horrible. They overbook appointments, you can't get through on the phone, the nurses won't give messages to doctors. As long as Dr. King remains with Saltzer, I would avoid the hassle and frustration. Dr. King prescribed a medication for my daughter which caused bad side effects. After multiple phone calls and phone tag trying to reach Dr. King, a nurse finally answered and said that Dr. King had not been consulted but that she talked to some other doctor and they recommended not doing anything. They didn't ask for any more information, didn't ask how my daughter was doing, no follow-up, and I never heard back from Dr. King, who probably still doesn't know there is still a problem.

I saw Dr. King several years ago when she was working at Women's Health Associates. I had a polyp removed as well as an Endometrial ablation which left me in severe pain for years afterward. I asked her to refer me to another doctor to get a "second opinion" She told me, "If it were your arm, I could refer you, but I can refer you to another OBGYN." I had to have my family physician refer me to another OBGYN. My family physician and the referred OBGYN doctor said that they NEVER have an issue referring their patients to other doctors for second opinions. I will add that she was always kind and I did like her. But, I would not use her for any surgery.

Listens, cares and wants to help. So knowledgeable and explains in a way anyone can understand. I appreciate her very much

Just cancelled all of my upcoming appointments, and am looking at finding another doctor's office to go to. My experience with my actual doctor was fine, but the receptionist and head of nursing (or whatever she is) may have just caused me to lose my job. I called two days ago because I was incredibly sick and had to call in to work for the second day in a row. In order to keep from losing my job over this, I would need a doctor's note in order to call in. I explained the situation, and was told that my doctor wasn't in that day, but was given the impression that I would still be able to get a note. They even asked for an email address or fax number that it could be sent to, and told me that if I wanted to see someone, I might be able to see one of the nurses. I said that I would want to come in, but they said they would have to give me a call back. Since they had told me that I would be able to get a note, I went ahead and called in. They took 2 and a half hours to call me back, and by the time I saw the message, the office was closed. In their message, they didn't say that I could come in. Just to call them back. I called back in the morning, and was told that my doctor was busy, but that I might be able to come in a little later to pick up a note. I called my work and verified that it would be okay to wait another day on a note, so I didn't think this would be a problem. Again, they didn't call me back until several hours later. This time, I was at work, and by the time I got on break the office was closed. I called back this morning and was finally told that I couldn't get a note since I didn't actually go in on the day that I missed. HOW HARD WOULD IT HAVE BEEN TO TELL ME THAT ON DAY ONE?!?! I wouldn't have called in in the first place, and wouldn't have risked losing my job. It took them two days to tell me something simple, and when I explained that I might lose my job over this, I was basically told, "Well, it was your choice to not go to work". I called the office before I called off of work to make sure I could get a note for that exact reason. Had I been told their policy that day, or even if the receptionist had told me that she wasn't sure, I wouldn't have called off. I can maybe believe that the receptionist didn't know (though this can't be an uncommon issue), but their head of nursing or whatever? Really? And that it took them TWO DAYS to figure it out? And the complete lack of caring for screwing me over is just the icing on the cake. I would rather go the last 2 months of my pregnancy without seeing any doctor than to step foot into this office again.

Dr King is very knowledgeable. She's patient. She listens to you. And she's amazing during labor. I'm sure she's delivered hundreds of babies but she truly gets so excited and is so motivational during labor! She's the best!

I saw dr king.April 2nd 2014 And was eight months pregnant.i saw her four hours before i gushed blood while at work and was in labor.when i saw her i explained everything going on And this being my first pregnancy i was told everything was normal n i was having a yeast infection but truth was i had just lost my mucous plug n my placenta membranes had ruptured which i later found out.when i saw dr king i was in a room with a sonogram machine which if she used she would have been able to see what was occurring and prevent it instead she said i was fine And could go to work.it was then i bled And was admitted tothe hospital to try n get contractions to stop yet instead my baby boy was born April 3 at 24 weeks old .he is fighting everyday to survive And his father AND I daily face an emotional rollercoaster when it would have only taken five minutes for her to ensure my childs health

I like Dr King to see her for my yearly check-up. She kind and gentle. I really appreciate her.

I had a hysterectomy through Dr. King. Was left deformed with a huge pouch. Told that it was swelling, then told it was due to initial scar tissue. I am now horrified by my body. I had a C-Section previously, with a slight indent. Scar tissue and stretch marks did not matter. However, the way Dr. King left me...with a pouch and hideously deformed...does matter. Do not go to this woman if you wish to be healthy in appearance, not deformed. Be safe in your decisions! Dr. King may be a great Doctor however, she is NOT great as a surgeon for women who want to look healthy!

I was very impressed by Dr. Kings professionalism. Accurate diagnosis and concern of any questions. I felt confident going having my procedure done with her and her staff. Very thorough and have had no pain or cramping whatsoever after my procedure. Thank you.
