Dr. Derek Hamblin, MD is amazing! He takes time to listen to what's going on and your thoughts and feelings about it unlike most doctors I've experienced. He's great with my children. Always kind, respectful, understanding and great at explaining what is going on, the reasons it could be happening and all options for treatment. Truly a great man and doctor. Makes you feel like he's a long time family friend. You don't find doctors like him very often any more! Thank you Dr Hamblin for everything that you have always done for my family and I. Thank you

Not just your average doctor in my opinion. I have alot of issues and autoimmune disorders. Which is sometimes like a puzzle, Dr Hamlin listened to what I was saying, he didnt blow me off because i didn't fit in the box. It was nice to be understood, instead of looked at like I was stupid, or a nut case.

Dr. Hamblin is one of the best GP's in Idaho! He's well educated, including new materials and information arising, compassionate, and thorough. Before he transferred to the Garden City location, he was my GP in Meridian. Dr. Gambling was such an excellent physician that I asked him to be my unborn son's primary care doctor after he was born. He agreed, and took incredible care of my baby. We miss him dearly!

Had no wait at the eagle office. Saw Doctor Hamblin and he promptly stitched me up and I was out of there in a half hour. He had a wonderful jovial approach to medicine which I greatly appreciated to distract me from the deep glass cut in my hand. Have been going to this office for years and have never had a bad or negative experience with any of the doctors or staff there.

See Dr. Hamblin for my yearly checkup. Very thoughtful, and takes the time to ask questions about me and my lifestyle. Explains his findings and takes the time to recommend solutions.

Very knowledgeable, seems to take a genuine interest not only in my medical issues, but also with how they affect my day to day quality of life. Asks questions and then listens to the answer, which is unlike many other docs. He's actually called me at home to personally follow up on issues. Te only big downside is his support staff. The people at the desk are a hit and a miss as far as being attentive or helpful is concerned. His nursing staff is in the same boat. His current nurse isn't very bright and doesn't seem to be able to accurately convey information from patients to him, so make sure you go over everything with him a second time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor.

Long wait time in exam room. Wanted an antibacterial pill pack to build in my system because alergies always lead to serious complications for me and they said no. Biggest waste of time and $30 Co pay. You've been warned.
