Ginger Allen's Online Review Report Card

This doctor’s asst dropped alarming lab results info on me saying I could not speak with doctor before almost 4 weeks out at an in person visit. “Can’t talk over the phone. Just sit with the scary lab results until you can come in for a BILLABLE visit”. When I insisted on speaking with Dr. Allen she was incredibly mean and unprofessional telling me I had to continue to wait another almost 4 weeks to discuss my condition.

My primary care physician has retired so I had to find a new PCP. I decided to try Dr. Ginger Allen at primary Health in Meridian Idaho. Dr. Allen treats her patients based on her own personal beliefs versus the way the patient needs to be treated. I have been denied a prescription I have been taking for years because it goes against our personal beliefs. Hence I have been unable to sleep for months due to chronic pain. I have tried every Over-the-counter sleep aid in various strengths and combinations yet my average sleep is an accumulative!!! 1 to 2 hours per day. Yet Dr. refuses to prescribe a prescription sleep aid. My blood pressure today was 180-90 morning and I am suffering from extreme sleep deprivation. I would not recommend Dr. Ginger Allen because She has treated me the way she sees fit and not the way I need to be treated. This is extremely frustrating and I will be finding a new doctor that cares more about the patient’s needs versus their own personal beliefs.

I find that Dr. Allen takes the time to understand my concerns and questions. She seems to respect my opinions and I feel that we are collaborating on behalf of my health. I am very comfortable and confident with the care she provides.

I saw her for hip pain due to injuries and child-birth. I explained it has prevented me from hiking, snowshoeing, even walking. She examined my butt/hip while I was sitting up! She didn't order any standard tests xray, ct. She said physical therapy and then went right into pushing a $$$ weight management program. I explained a history of eating disorders and depression. She ignored all of my concerns. She's just another Dr who only sees a fat person instead of a patient needing treatment

I have been seeing Dr. Allen for a few years now. She is truly amazing and I always feel like she cares and really takes time to listen. Wouldn’t trade her for anyone else and highly recommend her!

Dr. Allen is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Dr. Allen really listens to my issues and provides many options. Dr. Allen is very pleasant and is easy to talk too.

Dr Allen listens to me. She always does a very good exam before giving me her opinion. She always gives me treatment options and allows me to choose what will work best for me.

Takes the time to address all my concerns. Very empathetic

Every time I see Dr. Allen I am so pleased with her care, the time she puts into the visit and her thoroughness. I feel very fortunate to have her as my primary care physician.
