Jacquelin Maybach's Online Review Report Card

Dr.Maybach is one of the best gynocologists I have ever met. From our first appointment until after my surgery she made me feel safe and cared for. I would recommend her to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Maybach for 20 years, and followed her out to Saltzer from downtown Boise because I can't imagine a better gynecologist. She is kind, empathetic, funny, and competent. She takes the to answer any questions I have, no matter how elementary, and has helped me through pregnancy, childbirth and into menopause. Best doctor ever.

Dr Maybach is a kind, understanding, knowledgeable Dr. And her team of ladies are such a pleasure too!

I highly recommend Dr. Maybach. She takes time to answer all of your concerns and pays very close attention to your medical history.

I've been seeing Dr. Maybach for about 10 years. During that time I have always felt that I have received the honest truth and recommendations about my health. She explains what the medical suggestions are as well as what she recommends and why. I have never left her office without getting all of my questions answered, and sometimes there are a lot. My husband has joined me on a few visits and she has taken the time to answer his questions as well.

I recently consulted with Dr Maybach for the probable need of a hysterectomy. She reviewed my records, assessed me, and recommended that surgery. She explained my options, then discussed the surgery I opted for based her recommendation, she was thorough in our discussion and gentle during my exam. She made sure she answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed in any way. She let me choose Treasure Valley Hospital to have my surgery and her staff was efficient and friendly. I feel very comfortable moving forward with her as my physician.

I have been seeing Dr. Maybach for about 15 years now. She has been my doctor through two pregnancies, one of which had complications and ended in preterm birth at 31 weeks. She was very proactive in my second pregnancy to prevent the same complication and I was able to go full term. She always takes the time to talk to me and address my concerns. My visits never feel rushed either.

Did not even get in to see her in person till 20 weeks of which time I was having hyperemesis (forced to see her NP who was just as unfeeling), made me feel belittled, said I was "high strung" because of anxiety during pregnancy. Scheduled to be out of town on my due date (which I gave birth on) and wouldn't see me post partem for swelling and retention. Didn't care about me as a patient. Absolutely not a good fit...

Dr. Mayback delivered our first and I will def be going back for our second. She works with a nurse, so every other time you come in you see her, but I liked this because in case she wasn't on call during delivery, her nurse would be. She also delivers a very high percentage of her own babies, which I liked. I had several complications during pregnancy, all of which she caught and treated appropriately. She also respected my wishes at the end not to induce, when I had a condition that could affect the baby if I went to far over my due date. I was recommended to her by several other people and I'm very glad I went with her.

I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. After a month of me telling her and her nurse of the pain and bloody urine they did nothing I finally said it was enough saw a different doctor I was hospitalized with a kidney infection if I would have waited another day my baby would have been born 3 months early. She was never really attentive when I would talk to her she would keep prescribing the same prescription when I saw her twice in a week. Her staff complained about me when I started crying because I needed an appointment with her not her nurse because of the pain I was in. That was the end of the straw when she said I was rude. I'm not a mean person never had any problem with any doctors but her front desk, nurses and her self are horrible. I read many reviews how she's had so many woman deliver early which are huge red flags. Being a mom of another and full time job she expected me to work when I could barely move because of the infection she failed to catch. Or her words the testing facility didn't catch it. Lord's knows what other test failed on other patients. So no I would say run save your self and your baby. I switch to Dr rudeen he was the best took great care of my baby and I. I was even put on bed rest because of my kidneys.
