Excellent doctor, I have gone to her for several years, always gives good care, listens and genuinely wants to help you. Love her !

Incredibly detached, criticized previous treatment and doctors. Seemed incredibly cold for a first visit to a doctor. I will be looking for someone else. Didn't take the time to learn about my history and criticized the need for specialist. This was an awful experience. I can't believe I had to wait for months to get in to see her because I was new to the area.

I have been seeing her for about 7 years and I can say she is an amazing doctor who listens and is open to explore what options work best for each situation. I like that she is willing to discuss holistic options as well. My only consistent frustration has been scheduling but that is usually a good sign that she is in high demand.

I am writing this to hopefully save other Senior Citizens from the same horror I experienced, as a direct result of Dr. Schelhass's care. I have a Thyroid condition. I went to said Dr. and told her I was feeling anxious. Instead of checking my Thyroid, she instead started me on Lorazapam, an anti anxiety medication. To make a very long sad story short.. she finally did check my Thyroid.. and it was out of whack. In the meantime, I had a serious reaction to the Lorazapam.

We love Dr.Schelhaas she is the best!!

Dr Schelhaas is a kind, concerned professional who listens to her patients and is open to holistic options for care. It is always nice to find a doctor who considers options and lets the patient be involved in decisions for their own care.

I have. Even seeing Dr. Schelhaas for 6 years. Her wait times can be a bit long, but I know this is because she is taking all the necessary time with her patients. I like that about her and don't mind waiting my turn. She has worked great with my therapist and other mental health providers. She does not recommend tests you do not want and explains whether or not a test is necessary. Understands the costs patients have and tries to help you save where possible. Very compassionate. Great team.

I have found her to be very attentive and proactive. I really appreciate that in a doctor. She is thinking of my solution before I do, and is very attentive to the situation at hand. She is friendly and professional! Always have an ear to listen to my maladies!

I've waited for over an hour for a scheduled appt (and never actually made it into the appt!) She rushes through spots and simply offers medications for symptoms, despite patient preference. Nurses do not call back.

Staff was wonderful and felt that Dr. Schelhaas was genuinely concerned about not only my medical condition, but me, as a person.
