Lisa Dockter's Online Review Report Card

So happy to find Dr. Lisa!!! She is absolutely great!!!

After looking for a primary care physician for a few months, and reading through pages of reviews for local PCPs, I decided to move forward with Dr. Dockter. I've had many doctors in my life but Lisa is far and away the most detail oriented, holistic and empathetic I've ever encountered. If you're looking for a 5-minute checkup and to have some pills thrown your way, Lisa isn't the doctor for you. But if you're tired of not being heard, not getting a thorough evaluation and no follow-up, she is a breath of fresh air and gives me confidence in the medical system again. Because she's very popular, the wait to see her can be extensive so plan accordingly. But it's certainly worth the wait!

At the beginning of the covid hysteria she told my parents who are 64 and 61 and in fair health, that they would die absolutely, if they were to contract it. Its several months later and is still letting them believe they are the worst group of people to get covid, even though it seems very inconsistent across the board. I do not believe any doctor can look at any patient and predict with any certainty if a person who gets it will surely die or not. My parents have been paranoid wrecks ever since, and won't listen to anything but what this doctor has to say. Seems kinda quacky to give that outcome matter of factly, especially in the beginning of all this. Would not recommend this dr

Dr Dockter is one of the most knowledgeable and thorough providers I've ever known. She takes so much time with her patients to understand the full picture. She's amazing!!

I always have the best experience with Lisa Docktor. She listens to my concerns and give me medical guidance as I need at the time. She make me feel like a friend mot a patient. She tell me the truth and doesn't candy-coat anything.

I was in great pain mentally and physically at my end and was looking on the internet for a doctor that I could trust. When I came across Lisa Dockter the I just felt it was meant to be. I called to set up an appointment and was told that she was not taking new patients. I started to cry while on the phone and the receptionist said she would talk to the doctor and see if she could call me and discuss my becoming a patient. I have been seeing her for over a year now and do believe that this is one of the best things I have ever done.

This is why I have given Lisa Dockter, MD one star: On my second visit she was diagnosing me with a disorder she was not qualified to diagnose me with. She treated me very condescendingly on multiple visits. Also, she clearly does not understand her role as a doctor, as she tried to interfere in what I do in my social life, so far as to list my social status incorrectly on my chart according to what she believed I should be doing. Lastly, she tried to interfere with my religious beliefs and practices. I will be filing a complaint with the medical board.

Lisa Dockter has been our family doctor for around 15 years. Excellent communicator and very knowledgeable across the medical arts. We have no problem recommending her to anyone.

Dr. Lisa has been my family physician for many years. She is affable, knowledgeable and most of all straight forward. She doesn't sugar coat anything and really takes the time to listen.
