List of Robert Lyons's Reviews
Dr Lyons is always calm, patient and professional. He never seems hurried and takes the time to answer many of my odd questions about me and my family. The staff are attentive and professional as well.
Note: He moved to 260 S 10 Mile Road in Meridian!Dr. Lyons is a such a good doctor. He has always taken the time to listen to my concerns, never seems rushed and is always willing to help. He's rare among doctors today.
Saw him for a mental health issue. He acted so embarrassed and awkward. Couldn’t even look me in the eye. His nurse was more professional and compassionate than he was. Not going back to him, gonna do whatever I can to switch.
I was assigned to this doctor as a primary care provider for TriCare. I called and obtained an appointment then about 5 days later got a call and they refused to take me as a patient because I allegedly had chronic pain, which he does not deal with. The employee kept changing her store as to what the real reason was for the change. I continued arguing that even if he does not deal with chronic pain he can and all doctors do refer this to a specialist like they do with cardiology, urology, oncology and the like, because they aren't specialists in those areas. They kept arguing that this was his protocol. As a primary care provider this is outrageous and clearly is a form of discrimination against a patient as well as being a veteran who honorably served this country from some 25 years. I am appalled at this provider and his staff. I would not recommend any patient to be seen by this provider. I will pursue a termination of his role with tricare. I will file a formal complaint with the State, AMA, and other regulatory agency over this matter. I will revise this statement as time goes to let everyone one know what happens in this matter.
This Primary Health is awesome. The doctors, PA's, nurses and medical assistants and office staff are professional, kind and knowledgeable. We never have issues getting an appointment and the wait for urgent care is almost nothing. If you go in there, ask for Amanda and tell her what an awesome job she does. She is a miracle worker when it comes to dealing with insurance and referrals to specialists. She has handled our notoriously difficult insurance company on many occasions and taken a huge stress away. This office understands the value and meaning of customer service and what a great bedside manner is really about.
One of the worst Dr.s I have ever been to. He does not listen at all. I went in for my yearly to get my medicine renewed. They did blood work ahead of the appointment. When I got there he said all the blood work showed that everything was good. I told him that I was having trouble urinating and I just was not feeling as good as I used to. His response. "You are getting old and your blood work is fine. Any other questions? "
He is my primary doctor and has been nothing short of excellent. Whenever, whatever problem I may be having he sees me and refers me to where I need to go promptly and correctly. Top rate!
best doctor and service i have ever had
I have been seeing doctor lyons for at least 4 years, he is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. I would refer him to any one.
Went in to see lyons multuple times over chest pains; he could not diagnose the problem. I then requested a new doctor. She was able to diagnose the problem within 5 minutes.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
