Abusive staff, especially their “sitters”, most of whom have zero medical training or knowledge. One sitter told my family member they deserved the pain they were experiencing and when it was reported to admin, nothing was done…not even a return phone call. Someone talking to a patient like that shouldn’t be allowed to work in a medical setting ever again but St. Al’s doesn’t seem too fussed about it which leads me to believe that’s common and/or accepted behavior for them.
