Went in with a broken arm. Went through triage was told a nurse would be out with a shot for the pain. That was 2 hours ago. They came to take x-rays but couldn't because of the pain. When asked when the nurse would be out to give me the pain med, after another hour, was told by the nonchalant male PA "I told the nurse when they get a moment they would be out." REALLY???? Well, I finally got my pain shot. Nurse said it would have been soon but the computer said I was discharged. Gee, that wouldn't have happened if they would have looked me up when I first asked how much longer. Totally disorganized and completely UNACCEPTABLE. Nurses and PAs walk around with no sense of urgency. Extremely rude.!!! No compassion!!! No sense of humanity. NEVER, EVER AGAIN. Their attitude was what made everything such a frustrating experience.
Dropped by for a walk-in x-ray. From check-in to completion, only 20 minutes! Very nice staff; very efficient process. Top notch health service!
My fiance was in the ER then later admitted. I live across the country, so I immediately hopped on a plane. I’ve worked as a patient advocate for many years, and so I knew I wanted to be there not just for emotional support, but to ensure he was being heard and his concerns were addressed appropriately. This facility was wonderful- from the cafeteria workers (hi, Tom and Cynthia) to the nurses and doctors (shoutout to Julie, Roman and Dr. Gibb). I was pleasantly surprised at the level of compassion and care from every single person I interacted with. I left back home without concerns that he would be treated well for the duration of his visit.
My mom was in there for a broken hip. She was put on the 6th floor . And the service she got was really lousy. She turn her car light on and have to wait 20 minutes before somebody came in. And then she is a fall risk and when she changed positions in her bed the alarm go off and nobody come for like 30 minutes to check on her. The nurses would say they're going to change her dressing and when come back for at least two 3 hours. She had CNAs that didn't understand English or that spoke English very well. That is not how you in a hospital in my opinion. When I came up to visit at different times throughout the days I would never see a nurse at the nurses station and when I left there was no nurse at the nurses station. They were all up front by the waiting room.
Absolutely fell in love with the gentleness and care of Jennifer from imaging tonight. She was so sweet and caring. I was in my assigned room for about an hour. Nobody offered me a blanket, asked if I wanted the lights off or if I was comfortable, etc. When Jennifer walked with me to imaging she asked me if I was sure I didn’t need to want a wheelchair (I didnt need one so I let her know I was okay) and kept comforting me and watching me to make sure I was walking fine. When she walked me back to the room she helped me into the bed, raised up the sides, offered me a warm blanket, lowered the lights for me and told me she hoped I feel better soon. I wish her nothing but the best in this field !💕
Friendly staff
Worth baby emergency experience ever . Was admitted to the room pretty quick but waited there 1.5 hours before someone showed up , checked the baby for one minute and rushed out . 15 min later they came in to scan baby's lungs and left us without anything for another 1.5 hours , I have never seen this horrible service quality in my life . Finally asked someone running around to give baby breathing treatment since there was no pneumonia. After some excuses the did . Waited for another 2 hours and no one ever showed up , no discharge papers no nothing. We just got up and left . Never back to this place . All this happened between 12 midnight and morning.
Always dependable
My girlfriend has recently gone through a surgery here at St Luke's in Meridian. I myself have been treated by.different St Luke's hospitals and clinics. Up until this point, I have always spoke highly about the staff and services provided by them. That unfortunately ends here. I have watched the staff here provide not just a sub-par manner of help, but almost a want to keep someone uncomfortable due to a judgement being past. I always thought and truly believed that Dr.s, Nurses, and assistants at hospitals were kind people with an almost old soul type of personality. I did not think that they would ever judge a patient and the level of care that they should receive, based on somthing that a visitor may or may not have done. I now realize that is far from the case. I will never again talk positively about this hospital or the rude, sadistic folks who work here. Do not come here if you feel people deserve equal treatment in a medical setting. What a nightmare.
Dr. Matey and her RN, Jennifer were very nice, polite and understanding.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
