Summit Family Health's Online Review Report Card

I’ve gone to summit family health for years as well as my family. Never once had an issue when we were seeing Dr. Loveland. He was always so kind and listened to us and didn’t sweep anything under the rug. Since he’s on his way into retirement we’ve had to see different providers. After my husband received his lab results, which they’ve been bad for years and continue to get worse, they once again tell him we want to repeat the labs in 6 months. We’ve tried so many things and it’s not getting better. They just want to put him on the schedule for more lab work which means more money out of our pocket. The staff definitely don’t like patients who try and advocate for themselves…. We’re now on the hunt for a new family practice doctor.

I was 5 minutes late for an appointment last week because it had snowed causing an accident on the freeway. I was still seen by a PA. A few days later I received a letter in the mail telling me they were terminating our business relationship for missing too many appointments. I haven’t missed any appointments and I didn’t miss this one. I was 5 minutes late. 5 minutes. So after 10+ years of using Summit, they threw me in the garbage, for no actual reason. I’m not sure what I did or what the real reason is. But that just tells me that I’m just a $$ to them and not a person with a name. I can’t express in words my disappointment. 10+ years. 5 minutes. All Summit Family Health cares about is taking your money. They don’t care about their patients. What’s even more weird is there’s a ton of more money to be made off me. So maybe it was personal. I really don’t know at this point because there’s no logic or rationality behind what they did to me. I didn’t deserve to be treated like that.

Extremely incompetent doctors and nurses. Ever since our doctor retired, they been pushing me around to different doctors. They lost my medical records and the new doctors had no ideas what was my history. Very late on giving my blood work results, never send referral to st Luke's after 2 weeks. Very unethical clinic. Sad to see a good clinic went down like this.

I have been a patient of Summit for about 6 months and all the providers I have seen have been great. Dr.Loveland, Sarah Orr, and Dr. Brubaker have all been pleasant to work with. I currently see Dr. Brubaker and I can’t say enough good things about him. He explains things clearly and takes time to figure things out. I always feel heard and I feel valued as a patient. He is great and I recommend him if you are planning on seeking care with Summit.

It's very unfortunate that I have to write this review since my family has been with this clinic for 5 years. Recently our pcp retired, they been giving my family different doctors each time not to mention the horrible attitude they started showing. The new doctor is new, have no ideas of my family members' records nor test results. After I asked how do you not have it, the new doctor put the responsibilities on the nurse and say they review it not him. Ah.. pretty sure that's not how it works! Super irresponsible and unethical. Sad to see our old clinic went down like this.

Went to Dr Jordan and had some lab work done, a few days later I received results via email, one item was slightly evaluated. A few hours later a nurse called and told me Dr Jordan had looked at my lab work and everything looked ok. I asked the nurse what the elevated item was and what it meant. She told me that Dr Jordan said if I want an explanation I would need to schedule another appointment. Are you kidding? Another appointment, so you can bill me again to explain something that should’ve been explained when I asked, isn’t that part of going over the labs with the patient? I called back and asked for a manager and spoke with Jolene. I explained that I don’t want a treatment plan or anything, I simply want to know what was elevated and what it means. She was of zero help after talking to Dr Jordan she called back and left me this message (see picture). What a joke, I will not be using this practice again. A simple 15 second explanation of what the elevated item means or what the abbreviations on the chart mean would’ve saved 20 minutes of phone calls and a review of how Doctors like this like to fraud the insurance for a second visit.

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review because I had really high hopes for my new doctor. I started with Doctor Cron only a couple months ago, trying to establish care with a new primary care provider. I needed one for my entire family of five, but I also needed a primary care provider to help me with a short-term disability claim that I had at work. He initially seemed great, but then after I had apparently too much paperwork to fill out, he sent me a letter, discontinuing my care. His claim was that I hadn’t established a therapeutic physician/patient relationship. However, that’s what I was attempting to do. So when I called asking for clarification, and I only received a phone call back from his nurse (who told me he wouldn’t even explain it to her) I had to assume that it was because of my disability and that he didn’t want to do my paperwork. It appears to me after looking at his reviews and having my own personal experience, that he wants only “easy” patients, to rake in money with little to no effort. I really felt like he wasn’t taking care of my best interest and really only cared about his bottom line. My short-term disability ended just yesterday, as I got a new position, and now I have to hope that he will help me complete this paperwork to get me back into work. I am happy to remove this review if I ever hear back from him explaining how to create a therapeutic patient and physician relationship, or have some explanation as to why this happened. Until then, my review stands. I hope to save you the trouble and keep you from a Doctor who is likely only going to release you from his care if you become too difficult.

Dr. Cron will drop you as a patient if you require any type of paperwork or you are "difficult" in any way. Read the reviews. They speak for themselves.

My wife had an appointment scheduled with Summit Family Health today. Due to traffic and difficulty finding their office entrance, she was 10 minutes late to the appointment, after driving 45 minutes to be there. In response, Summit Family Health said they would not see her for her scheduled appointment and it would have to be rescheduled. If you are looking for a caring medical provider, look somewhere else!

Dr Cron, best primary care doctor you could ever have! Always knows what's going on even without testing. He literally is amazing!
