the front desk staff was rather rude regarding the collection of files, imaging, etc. from referring doctors, and after “reviewing” Kemp “declined to see me without explanation” and I was told that he only sees clients by request. Well… let’s see, I’m not a client — I would be a patient, and that right there says all I need to know about this practice and it’s practitioner. Also, I did request to be seen. I think what the front desk meant was that he only sees “clients” he wants to.

Not sure how anyone could have had a 1 star experience. Despite what some have written, I found all of Dr. Kemp's staff genuinely friendly, caring and professional. As for my medical treatment, Dr. Kemp's expert evaluation of the spiral fracture of my fibula allowed me to avoid surgery. With his careful monitoring, looks like I'll be back on both feet sooner than I could have expected. Can't say enough good things about his practice. I'd give him a sixth star if I could.

Dr. Kemp is an amazing doctor who has had the patience of a saint to do 2 redo surgeries on my father from a prior surgeon. Trust me my father is not an easy patient but Dr Kemp has been great and did an amazing job. He has now done my husbands surgery and we know he is in good hands. I’m not sure what the negative reviews are about, they have some of the most amazing front office staff. I think generally, you get back what you give. Sure, he is straight to the point but you go to him for a good surgical outcome not for hand holding and emotional support. That is what counselors are for. You may have to be a little more vocal with your questions, if you want them answered but if you have concerns he will definitely walk you through them. He’s honest and straight to the point which is a refreshing quality in a physician!

Horrible service this Dr. has other people do his work he doesn't want to actually talk or see the patient then when you ask why your not seeing the Dr they tell you he's out of town then because you questioned why you made appt. for the Dr and don't get see the Dr they call and tell you that the Dr isn't the right fit for you this Dr is horrible

There are other doctors in the valley who treat foot and ankle problems. But Dr. TRAVIS Kemp should be your first choice if you are having those kind of problems. He is an orthopedic surgeon. He and his staff gave me gold standard service. He was on time, thorough and not condescending in any way because of my age or sex. He listened closely to me explain my issue, then used x-rays to show me and give me straight, understandable answers and options for treatment. He did not try to push surgery. He is patient oriented. Never once did I feel pressured or rushed. No need to shop around. Dr. TRAVIS Kemp is the one.

Very fast and professional, Dr kemp found the issue with my ankle and we are going to try some options to surgery.

I have the use of both feet today because of Dr. Kemp. I first visited Dr. Kemp in 2011 and was so impressed with him and his professional care and manners I continued going to him. He has saved each of my feet. The first time when I had gangrene in my foot and needed immediate treatment, he was concerned that I would lose my foot, and rightly so. He stuck with me however until my foot was healed. A year ago I broke my other foot in such a way the threat of losing this foot was also very real. Dr. Kemp was able to secure and strengthen my foot and ankle with an exterior brace, similar to a halo brace, which allowed me to be able to put some weight on my foot so I had limited mobility. It was a long healing process but today eleven months later I can walk. Not only is he knowledgeable about his treatments but is also very personable and caring. Oh, that all doctors were like Dr. Kemp. Thank you, Dr. Kemp. I might add that his staff is just as caring and thoughtful as he is.

Want to thank Dr Kemp and his staff for their excellent services! Dr Kemp gave my husband back a much improved quality of life! My husband crushed both of his ankles in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago. The arthritis in his ankles was so painful that he suffered every day while going about his daily routine. Over this last year Dr Kemp performed total ankle replacement on both of his ankles. He is now able to enjoy life again both at work and at play!! Thank you so much Dr Kemp!!

I’m I sent my medical reports over to have dr Kemp review them and to just get a second opinion from him. I did not want to make him my primary doctor and he denied me service with no reason or rational. I ask why and they told me he did not give a reason. I do not think that is good business practices to not give a reason.
