Today was my first experience with Dr. Portela and Treasure Valley Dermatology. They were awesome! A well organized office and staff. The assistant who spoke with me intially in the room was super friendly and helpful. Dr. Portela seemed very knowledgeable, experienced, and competent. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely wonderful care!!! So nice to be able to talk and get feedback. And to feel heard. The doctor actually got up close and looked instead of standing across the room and just saying take this medicine bye. I feel hopeful for some real relief!!

Went here last week as part of a follow up exam (I had squamous cell carcinoma removed about 18 months ago in California). I have been seen by several dermatologists over the years, but my visit with Austin Lee was outstanding. The appointment wait was 2-3 weeks. The Meridian facility is very nice. Short wait time in office. Austin was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He kindly froze off several precancerous spots and carefully checked for suspicious lesions. I will have followup yearly, and I am happy to see him back. Note: he is a Physician's Assistant but certainly competent. I am a retired physician myself.
