List of William Lindner's Reviews
Dr. Lindner is very professional and knowledgeable! He explained all my options and answered all my questions in language I could understand. The surgery went great and I can hardly see the little scars. I only took pain meds for 2 days then aspirin for 3 more. Follow up care has been awesome and I recently referred my mother to him!!! :-)
I suffered from an acute traumatic posterior shoulder dislocation during a skiing accident. After my ER visit, I was referred to the on-call orthopedic surgeon. I was sent to Physician Therapy twice a week for 6 weeks, it was clear after 3 weeks into Physical Therapy I was not progressing as expected. After 6 weeks I was finally ordered an MRI and then told I needed surgery. Being a Biomedical Engineer and a researcher, I decided to seek three different opinions before making a decision about surgery. After gathering all the information I could about my injury and condition from some of the best shoulder specialists in Boise, I decided to go with Dr. Lindner. During my first appointment with Dr. Lindner he spent 38 minutes with me. He answered all my questions, went over my MRI results, and even drew pictures to help me understand the diagnosis and his recommendations for treatment. It was Dr. Lindner’s bedside manner that ultimately made me feel he was the right choice to be my doctor. He made me feel like a patient that he cared about and not a medical problem needing a textbook solution. My shoulder is on track currently for a full recovery without surgery! I am so very thankful for Dr. Lindner, and his PA, for providing the treatment I needed to recover and get back to my lifestyle. You may have to wait past your appointment time to be seen; but know when they finally make it to your exam room you will get the appointment you deserve and need! Thank you, Dr. Lindner, for being the doctor I needed. I am glad I found you!
My chronic, 60 year old damaged shoulder experience with staff at both Broadway DOC clinic and the main Allied Ortho Eagle road clinic was first first rate with courteous and efficient service. More importantly was my pre-op, surgery and post op care experience provided by Dr Lindner and his wonderful P.A April. Dr Lindner did extensive shoulder repairs above and beyond the expected rotator cuff tear. Also, he fast tracked my treatment at end of year for insurance reasons. I followed his post op care instructions including working with his hand selected PT's at Foothills Physical therapy. My out come at 6 and now 8 months has far exceeded my expectations, and I'm back to 110% of rigorous activity I could not do the past 10 years!. Keep up the great work Dr Lindner and Team. It is great to receive such care from a professional independent provider vs that of an unnamed monopoly healthcare system in the valley. I wont delay surgery next time it is suggested due to this outcome. Sincerely, Brian Hathhorn
I saw Dr. Lindner regarding constant pain in my right shoulder - I thought I might have damaged my shoulder joint when I fell and caught myself awkwardly with my right arm. He had the on-site X-Ray technician take a picture of my shoulder during the appointment and then went through a detailed diagnosis with me while he examined my range of motion - he finally determined there was no damage to the shoulder itself. He recommended physical therapy and referred my to a practice near my home in Eagle. All in all, this was a very positive experience with a truly knowledgeable professional. I would recommend Dr. Lindner to anyone who is having issues similar to mine.
Dr. Lindner is very personable, as well as thorough. He takes plenty to time to educate you on procedure and outcome. Everyone in the clinic is friendly and helpful.
I recently saw Dr. Lindner for the first time concerning my chronic shoulder pain. I had an MRI that showed a tear in my rotator cuff. He completely dismissed me and told me it’s just a frozen shoulder and that I needed PT. He questioned me about medications I was taking and why. They had nothing to do with my shoulder pain. For the record, I was not there seeking pain medications. I was hoping for a cortisone injection. He was rude and short with me and left the room. I had to make an appointment for the injections which were two weeks out. My co-pay to see him was $95. Thankfully, I got a second opinion and my injections two days later. A $45 co-pay and he acknowledged my rotator cuff tear and he didn’t dismiss it as frozen shoulder. I now have a long term plan for my RC tear. I will not be going back to DOC.
I was recommended to see Lindner from a coworkers who had a surgery perfomed by him. I was frustrated with the surgeon I was seeing at the time. Lindners office got me in quickly. After evaluating my situation thoroughly, Lindner determined I needed a surgery. I am now 4 months out of surgery and my shoulder feels normal again. I didn't realize how much it was affecting me till now. I am much more active now and feeling great!
Dr Lindner is amazing. I have seen him for a broken elbow, shoulder surgery and knee surgery. All of which the results were fabulous. I am completely out of pain and could not have asked for better results. I recommend him and DOC to everyone in need of orthopedic care. Thank you for what you do.
Dr. Lindner explains everything very clearly and even drew pictures to help me understand. He's an excellent surgeon and also has a great bedside manner!
I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with Dr. Lindner. He was very courteous and patiently explained my condition and the recommended procedure on our first meeting. He was very friendly and reassuring as we got to know each other on pre-op visits and especially when I was in the pre-op area prior surgery. Only minor discomfort following the meniscus surgery and during recuperation. I highly recommend Dr. Lindner based on my positive experience with him and his staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
