I needed a root canal and the Terry Reilly clinic in Boise doesn't have an endodontist, so I made an appointment at the Middleton location. I am happy that I did!We all dread having a root canal, eh? Well, dread no more! Liz (the dental assistant), Jared (the intern) and Dr. Mardsen were fantastic, and took great pains to make sure that I felt no pain. Even the numbing injections were painless. It was just amazing!My tooth gave them some difficulty, as it already had a crown that had to be drilled, and three roots to be cleaned out. The crown was done 11 years ago, and calcium had built up underneath, so that made it difficult to find the root canals. But they proceeded slowly and conservatively so that the tooth wouldn't loose any more structure than necessary so that it would remain strong. I also saw some new (to me) technology in use , like the ohmmeter used to detect root canal length.The procedure took a long time, due to the abundance of caution, and after awhile I was regaining some feeling, and I got another painless injection into the jaw. Jared and Dr Mardsen were really good at keeping me informed during the procedure. For me it was actually fun because I learned so much!I am writing this review the day after, and I have no pain at all. And now I don't have to be careful when drinking a cold beverage!This team is obviously dedicated to patient comfort and work together to give the best possible outcome.

I think the staff, including Dr. Barrus do what they can for their patients. My last experience didn't work to my satisfaction because of the price of the medication offered at Walmart pharmacy. I Asked for something different, or check on price at Terry Reilly pharmacy. I just gave up after playing phone tag with the nurse. And I got better.

Dr. Bill Laitinen is terrific. I've had asthma my entire life and in less than a 20 minute appointment he had me breathing better than at anytime in my 62 years of life. Thanks

I am new to the town and my son had a toothache plus his feeling was almost out. After reading reviews about this clinic I was very sketchy but they where the only once who offered discount based of the income. And not having a job yet I’ve decided to give them a shot. I called Terry Reilly and explained my situation. They got my son in that same day for consultation right before they closed. Front ladies where very friendly and understanding and Dr was very polite and knowledgeable. He looked over my kid,told me what the problem was, gave me recommendations and even pointed me to where I can get help finding insurance for my kids. The young assistant was very friendly and explained step by step to my son. On my check out I was even given a $5 discount for paying right of way on already what I though was very good price that I got. I was scheduled an appointment for him in 20 day. The next day my son had even worse pain and that same night was crying from his toothache and stayed up crying all night. No matter what I gave him for pain relief nothing helped. I called the same dr the next morning and explained what happened. Receptionist was very understanding and polite and said she will contact the dr and will get back to me to me in couple hours. She got back with in an hour and they got my kid in with in an hour. Said they will help my removing the root. He needed a root Canal from the beginning. And will finish the process on my already schedule appointment. When I walked in I only waited about 30 min and the front desk told me he is treating a patient and he will b next. The dr did an amazing job fixing my son and the assistant was very pleasant also. Hour and a half later he left with a root out and dr said this should help him get by. I was extremely grateful for getting my son in on a short notice and I can’t but say thank u to the Dr. and his amazing staff. Thank u for rescuing my son. God bless this office and help them thrive and help ppl like my son and me. Definitely recommend this office.

They wouldn't pull my tooth after 3 weeks in pain made me wait 9 days for appointment cause they didn't like my attitude wouldn't you have attitude after all that then just give you ibuprofen for the pain that you already been taking 1200mg that don't work for it. I would not go see them for anything they just want your money not care about there patients.

My individual experience with the female dentist was terrific! My description detail is about 1/2 of a spiral notebook sheet long. All Terry Reilly dental businesses provide exceptional: mental; emotional; psychological support for any possible sensation a individual may feel they take into account to try to help you along each millisecond of the procedure; it's nothing short of a miniature surgical procedure.

This place is by far the least professional medical facility I have ever been to. I have had all my prenatal and post natal services done here and I have never walked out of the building happy. One main problem is with billing. I have asked multiple times going in how much I owe and they tell me a extremely high cost and I pay it right there. Just to find out at my next appt that I have a $500 credit? I call the corporate billing office and I ask about the money and they tell me I owe money from over a year ago! So annoying! I have fixed this same problem multiple times and not once have I received an invoice. I appreciate what a Terry Reilly office is for but just because you are low income it seems they treat their patients as such.

I'm in severe pain and they want me to wait several months to have a tooth pulled. I'm not happy with Terry Reilly. My overall experience hasn't been that good. I've been going here several years and all the good staff members never stay.

Absolute garbage of staff. They are billing us for the first appointment which apparently isn't covered by medicaid. My wife asked several times if everything is covered and they said it was. This business is a hole of lying snakes.

We got Dr. Barrus. We waited 45 minutes for the doctor to walk in the room, which wouldn’t be so bad if the entire experience wasn’t a nightmare. Id been sick for about 5 days, he asked me to state my symptoms and without any testing said it was a virus and I’d have to deal with it. He then spent 30 minutes typing 3 lines about drinking honey water on a laptop, then forgot and gave us grievance for asking for a medication that we asked about before talking about being sick. Waste of time, and money. Dr. Barrus was very rude, would not recommend.
